I feel like the prince as the only heir to the king probably always had yes-men around him. Plus, we don't really see his parents anywhere. Maybe, he lost them early and was raised by the palace people. This movie gives the impression that the cursed staff actually lived in the palace itself. The staff was probably extremely loyal to the prince, even when they feared him, they never tried to teach him better. The prince probably didn't have any good tutors if the miestro is any indication of that. Judging by how much he trusted Miestro, I feel like the Prince's supporters and advisors were probably hidden villains to raised, supported and taught him that his current manners were alright. This might be the major difference between The prince and Gaston. This is why the fairy took matters in her hand. She cursed the prince and turned him into a beast. The staff never tried to advise the prince in any way to be a better person. ( I mean it's obvious that's not a proper etiquette of a crown prince) Maybe that's why the palace workers were also cursed into becoming utensils. In a way, the curse of the fairy was in fact a hidden blessing to everyone. A blessing that they could only receive once they've learnt their most important life lessons. 1. For the beast, it was about having a heart and manners. 2. For the staff, it was that as the people closest to the prince, they should have gently advised him against his previous wrongs. This Life lesson and blessing of the fairy brought a life partner into the Prince's life, a peaceful country ruled by a wise king, satisfaction in life from the prince and the staff and a good atmosphere. It stopped the prince from becoming like Gaston. I really loved that the beast was a beast externally but his true heart (that he never listened to before being cursed) was actually good. On the opposite, Gaston had a handsome physique but his true heart was ugly. Gaston was a beast with the appearance of a man.

Hey so, apparently the prince is 11 years old right here, that would explain the 10 years as a beast until his 21st birthday when the rose starts to wilt, chip right here is a child right, so is 10 years have passed i have a few questions, why hasn't chip aged that much when he turnes back into a human, how how come the prince has, why does the prince look like the fully grown beast when he transformed, how does mrs pots have more kids in the cubbored with her son chip, and i find it kinda odd that the enchanterus would put a curse of a literal child, thats fucked up, i know hes mean, but why not Gaston, wtf is going on with this story, i love it but its confusing
