Good video, but the base gel is just a base you apply for the nails to help the other products to adhere to the nail and other products, press on gel or happy gel which is much thicker should be used on the nail tips 😊

This is a great video I love your voice. I’ve been using the Kiara sky builder gel system for about three sets. The problem I’m having is that my nail beds are very short right now and they tend to lift. I do the prep exactly as instructed but still struggle with my non-dominant hand lifting. So I’ve been using poly gel when I replace the nails that lift. It seems to stay on better than the builder gel. Any advice on short nail beds?

Another great reason I switched to Apres is that when you run out of a particular size, you order just that one size and not a whole box. Can I use regular gel base coat instead of their base gel? Forgot to order it in my order with the tips. And after 2 months they just got here so I don't want to put in another order for their gel. I do have their souffle gel to use, but from my understanding I still need a base gel down first?
