This is on my list for sure, I am both a stout and coffee guy. Too bad I just finished my vodka two days ago. You should use an extra bottle of stout to make a syrup, its really good for cold brews and cocktails.

I made a beer-garita for Cinco over the weekend. Actually turned out fantastic. Usually not a beer cocktail guy. 1.25 oz blanco tequila (I used Tequila Ocho) .75 oz fresh lime juice .50 oz agave syrup .50 oz orange liqueur (I used Calwise Barrel Reserve) Served in a chilled Pilsner glass Topped with a dark Mexican lager (I used High Hand Brewery)
@ZacharyWelker3 ай бұрын
I've made a beer-garita before and I was a huge fan. However, I can see a dark Mexican Lager adding some extra depth to it. I haven't heard of Calwise Distillery before, but being a NorCal native, I'm going to try to locate some.

Gotta try this one. Been really enjoying all your recipes! Which cream ale did you use?
@ZacharyWelker3 ай бұрын
I used the Aurora Brewing La Crema, but I recommend using whatever local option you can get your hands on. When I was in California, I would see the Mother Earth Cali Creamin' Vanilla Cream Ale and I think that could add some nice sweetness to the drink.

These beer cocktails are definitely hit-or-miss and not for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised by the Diesel, but I can understand it not being the right taste profile for you. This one is definitely more of an actual 'cocktail'.
@daniel81813 ай бұрын
@@ZacharyWelker I am not totally opposed to the idea behind the "diesel", I actually kinda like the "red velvet" with wine and stout, but no matter what combination of beer and cola I tried, I couldn't make it work.

where that accent from?
@ignisberserkr10624 ай бұрын
It sounds like a lisp on the R, it’s a speech impediment that makes an R sound like a W. I used to have speech impediments on my R’s and S’s, and my S sounds would sound like a th (eg wed thnake instead of red snake). Apparently it’s not that bad for me anymore, but I feel like I still hear it. People used to ask me all the time what kind of accent I had, like you did to him, and it was always pretty funny to me. I could be wrong, but a lisp is my guess because I only hear it on the R sounds that he makes and because I’m very familiar with lisps.
@ZacharyWelker4 ай бұрын
This is exactly it. It's a speech impediment around the /r/ sound. I work in hospitality so I constantly get the question of where my accent is from, as well, and it's fun. Everyone speaks differently and I've grown to love the way that I speak. Most people assume it's an English or Australian accent.
@npcgamingtv3584 ай бұрын
I had the same speech impediment when I was young. My speech therapist called it lazy tongue. If you practice correct speech pronunciations they'll become second nature and you can fix the impediment (if you even care too). Now when I get drunk it comes all back out but we won't talk about that 😂
