I remember having this episode and a bunch of others on tape at the end of the 80s. I didn't know if this was supposed to be the last episode. Lion-O proved himself over these 5 episodes that he was "truly the lord of the Thundercats." He overpowered Panthro in terms of strength. He outlasted and took the shortest but most dangerous path to beat Cheetara in terms of speed. He outsmarted Wily Kit and Kat in terms of cunning. He proved to have a stronger mind than Tygra in terms of mind power. Then, he finally defeated Mumm-Ra unarmed, but prepared with everything he learned that week leading up to what should have been his last fight against Mumm-Ras evil. Out of all the multi episode arcs in the series, this one was my favorite.
