James, Did you watch the updated video? Still though, it wouldn't do 75. I wonder if it's because mine is an early build Z1000? The VIN is 0000095 or some shit.

@@jameswalsh9637 It wouldn't matter anyway. It's been lifted and sitting on 30" tires now for 2.5 years so it doesn't have the get up that it used to. Lol!! But it sure does have alot of low end torque because it has no trouble spinning the tires in the deepest of mud holes.

Hi this will sound like a stupid question but why is it only able to do 70mph with a 1 litre 4 cylinder engine but a car with a similar size engine can go much faster for example a Nissan Micra in the UK where i live will do 100mph with same engine size ?

This is a 2 cylinder but that is besides the point. This is an off road machine. It's geared MUCH different than a car with a completely different transmission.

Yes sir, I'd like to see more power out of this v-twin. But I will say this, since I've had it (Feb. 2018) it has never smoked the belt and I've been stuck in some deep thick shit. That CV Tech Clutching is fucking money!! I buried it in a creek Saturday with water half way over the bed and everything is still functioning. I was actually very surprised!

My 2017 zforce 800 hit 73 as well. I hit 75 going down hill. Ive got 2400 miles on mine. It blowed an oil seal first 500 miles. No big deal shop fixed it under warranty. Then the ground wire came loose from the battery. I tightened that up no big deal. I changed the oil a few times which sucks on the 800s....it sucks to just check it. Oh yeah and 1 of the manifold pipes cracked...almost sounded like a valve ticking....scared me at first but dealer put a new manifold pipe on it...they claim it happens. Other than that these things are outstanding for the money....I luv mine

Mine has been absolutely fantastic!! This is what's funny, every time we go ride, one or more Polaris's break and I just kinda giggle and shake my head. You need to really look at one of these up close. They are built very well! I could type up alot of little things that they done great on. Like the front driveshaft that actually comes out the center of the tranny and runs straight to the front diff (just look at Polaris's), the ECU is mounted at the very tip top of the machine, all the plugs are water/mud proof, the axles are big (I haven't broke one yet), CV Tech clutching. There is more stuff that I'd have to think about but it really is a well built machine and that surprised me. I thought it was going to be a piece of shit!

It was flopping between 70 and 71 so I'm gonna say that's all it'll do. I don't think it would matter if I had more road. I'm getting a tuner for it then I'm going to re-try it. I think it should do a little more than an 800. Lol!! It feels very de-tuned though.

Ole Dude u would think that with 20hp xtra power it would be relatively faster than a Z8. Looking at your machine I can’t think of anything that would slow it down, apart from a strong head wind maybe. I would love to know what top speed others get.

Hey, let me add this. I'm in the process of putting a snorkel kit on it (hence I have the plastics off) and I decided to pull my spark plugs to check them. The front cylinder spark plug gap was just about completely closed up (I couldn't even get my gapping tool in there). So when I get it back together, I'll try it out again. I just remembered that though!!

@cfmotoz8626

Ole Dude a snorkel isn’t going to make go faster but if your driving in dusty conditions like I do, get a pre filter cleaner such as the Donaldson TopSpin which will reduce your dust intake considerably, thus reducing the need to clean your filter which is a pain in the Arse!

Changing the oil is easy. Changing the belt is another story, but they don’t break like the other machines! I heard a guy has done 6,500 km on original belt and is going to change it at 9,000km. I’ve done 2000 km with mine and it still looks like new!
