Wow, this is amazing discovered footage of a time when former adversaries worked together to defeat the Martian invaders and their infernal machines. I'm guessing that the sound effects were later added to the silent footage - in tribute to the heroic fallen who saved humanity from extinction. My great grandfather took part and lost a leg to a laser beam fired from a tripod. He was fitted with a wooden leg and returned to the frontline. Thankfully he survived,....or I wouldn't be here to express my gratitude to the courageous warriors. Great video. Respect from Ireland.
