Hi Steve thank you for the Vlog. We are going on Explorer 2 in September 2024 and looking to book this excursion. I was wondering how long it actually took you to walk round the cave after you left the train. It looks an amazing excursion although tiring. Thank you again.

When we were on voyager a couple went to bed and not gone to muster when we all had to go to our muster stations, as explained by the Captain we had lost our departing slot as muster station is 100% requirement before being allowed to depart

I've done this cruise a couple of times, it's one of the best in my opinion. Hopefully doing it again next year.

Watch Andy and Kristy’s vlog and get a few tips from them, split your videos into specific areas of your holiday, all the best. PS we are doing this same cruise in June this year and really looking forward to it, we have sailed Marella before and like their medium sized ships.

There was no fridge in our room, we found this very strange, the space where the fridge is there but there was no fridges when we cruised on the Marella Explorer 2, we said on the Marella Voyager in December and those cabins we had fridges.

I love the sound of your next two cruises, Caribbean and the fjords. My cousin and his family have recently been on the Iona to see the fjords and they loved the cruise and the ship. Hi again 👋 Interesting to watch this discussion/information on excursions as it’s important to factor in how long it’s going to be AND the level of difficulty. What you think it’s going to entail and what it actually entails can differ. Good that Tui have detailed information to help you decide what suits you. It’s worth noting that if you book through the cruise to have excursions and you’re late they will wait but if you get a train or taxi independently and you’re late then they won’t wait! Make sure you have the correct sail away time for that day and double check there have been no changes to it for any reason before setting off if you plan to make a day of it. My Husband, Dave, went to Rome from our last cruise on his own (I knew I couldn’t do it) and under his own steam. On way back he got on the wrong train. Thankfully he checked early on in journey so got off but it meant he had to run everywhere to get the right train then bus back to ship. He looked like he was going to pass out when he got on the ship…just in time! Lesson learnt 😮Thanks Steve & Gemma

Hi Steve 👋 we’re just about to book a cruise on the same ship you were on so wanted to see this. I really felt for you asking for kindness but let me tell you, you did a fabulous job! I love the back drop of the palm trees, classy and gets you in the holiday mood. I’m intrigued about what you used to film the footage. I’ve never seen this before and I WANT ONE😂 When you were both eating your meal you were hands free and you were being filmed…from all angles. I could see a stand on the table and when you were walking you could tell you were holding something but not see….until you saw a shadow on the floor and you saw the stick. It was like the invisible man 😂🤣 If you could let me know Steve I would appreciate it, thank you 🙏🏻 Back to the footage: I liked that you showed certain areas in fast forward 👍🏻 and the slow motion was good too! The inside cabin was good to see (were having the same) and although it was short we got a flavour and it tasted good 😉 You’ve definitely got the mind set, skill and knowledge, it’s just down to practice now and your going to be awesome. This is a good example to others who want to try this. It’s real and we need more real in life. Great oak trees come from small acorns.
