Please fabricate a door stopper of sorts for your rear door to prevent it from swinging in while open for any reason while you're cooking. How long does that gas cylinder last you?

Yes.. I need to do that door stopper thing. I use pieces of plywood sometimes, but it is not very effective. Btw, it is a petrol camping stove... I have never used throwaway gas canisters as I feel that they are very wasteful.

I heard there is a vehicular road built for phukthar monastery from the flat ground above purney, that reduces the trek time and kilometer...please advice...as I will be once again there starting this October...

it is just a generic 120W panel on Amazon US. Mine stopped working after getting blown off by the wind a few times. It is only giving 15W power, instead of the expected 60 to 100W

It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. You are class apart when it comes to capturing ladakh, zanskar. I have been to phugtal monastery last summer. It is a beautiful monastery. Probably the best I have seen till date

Exactly 2 days ago on 26th April 2024, I went on this route solo on my bike and location where you found big rocks, I found them there too and workers said they are continuing to do blasting to make road broader, apparently no land slide 😀I also record video on my cam and upload them on KZfaq at my channel #IamKoli , I have all these videos uploaded there on m channel..

Captivating piece as usual. I have always wondered why the people in such remote plsces chose to continue to live there in spite of having option to relocate to a place where life could be easier. Do you have any thoughts on that?

I might make a video on it in the future. Their children have already moved away and only the middle aged/old people live in these villages. They live healthly, self sustained lives here.. One of them once told me that they get everything they need from the land around them for free.. and that they wont even get a glass of water for free if the moved to the towns.

Another exotic but gruelling trip for both man and machine ! Looking forward to the longer detailed version of this video on India in Motion.May I ask what camera body and lens set up you are using ? Do you use the same equipment for all the content we get to see or is it a combo of dslr and a go pro type set up ? Happy and safe travels.

The videos on this channel are mostly shot with the Pocket 3. On @indiainmotion it is a mix of Pocket 3 for all the hiking/vlogging stuff and Lumix S5 for documentary type shots.
