How do you undent your titanium gear after it takes a beating? It feels bad to have indents on it after a few swings. Is it permanent?

Medieval plate armor was convex, right? so would an ordinary spear defeat a knight in this armor? please reply

Can you undent them by hammering them back into place or is it permanently like that?

When people say steel is tempered and hardened, do they mean they tempered and hardened mild steel?
@O.LEO.N16 күн бұрын
No. Only high carbon steels such as 30 HSGA steel can be hardened.

Hardened steel, you don’t die but you are deaf after a blow because of the high carbon ringing like a church bell.

3D modelled Indo-Persian cuirass did exist but they weren’t as common. Chahar-aina was the more common one which consisted of 4 plates: 1) breastsplate 2) backplate & 2 sideplates as they were cheaper to produce for the much larger Eastern armies.

The only reason I ever wanted plate armor was just so people could hear quiet then suddenly faint “CLANK CANK CLANK” as it gets louder running toward them

Sure plate armor can be restrictive if it isn't designed properly, angular metal loins and gain pauldrons would be hard to move in, the only con is heat and noise but we can always put a cloth over it, so the only real con is noise when sneaking
