Thin Lizzy is one of the most underrated rock bands with a ton of BANGERS to enjoy. His rhythm and soul is so nice when coupled with Rock n roll

I feel like jail break just means like a gang fight of sorts…or lots of trouble makers will be out and about looking for trouble. Not a legit hail break lol

The state of street photography nowadays fueled by social media and editing softwares facilitated the process. However, that does not mean those who leverage on these tools have mastered the process. Many imitates, but fell short in coming up with originality. There is nothing wrong with imitation in order to master the technicques. That is how people learn (playing instruments, painting, sculpting, writing, etc.). HOwever, those who takes on the path of creativity and discovery of self will eventually set him/herself apart. That achievement does not mean fame or fortune, rather an attainment of personal style (I believe luck plays a major role in becoming famous and rich). Some of the most successful artists (including photographers) that I know in person do not have social media with large followers and vise versa. What we see on social media is but a fraction of what is out there. I still have faith and believe that Street photography is a constantly evolving method that will go towards a positive path. Just my two cent. Great video by the way.

There are an awful lot of photos of YOU on your Instagram platform. Not so many inspired shots. Just saying. Inspired shots are more easily said than done.

Can you just take photos with this camera and export them onto your pc or is it a shoot and print process on every photo?

Been looking at the Pilot series for travel and carrying my Q2M - great that you showed the exact camera next to the 3.5L and 2L! It's shown me that the 2L would be a tad too small for my needs, so 3.5L it is.

The 99% of street photography now on Instagram looks like sport: how to catch something, "momentum" search, catch someone happy/sad. There is no deep meaning in it anymore. Street photography is overdone. Mostly everyone is a copycat without any personality.

This video may help a lot of people. I don't do social media. What I find is that people are used to seeing a barrage of cell phone photos. They can be dismissive of photos because they see so many. When they view my photos, taken with a Canon DSLR, they are amazed! I shoot community events like a local Kiwanis Father's Day Brunch. When they see 35mm DSLR photos telling a story, it really gets their attention. Keeps me going.

If YOU are happy with one of your own photographs, isn't that enough - for an amateur photographer? The New York Times might not be interested in your photograph, but need you care? When Pablo Picasso painted a picture was he ALWAYS thinking "is this going to sell?"

Hi Ben. Today is the day I am forced to quit. I’m not working much at the moment and have two month’s mortgage payments in the form of Leica gear, so the terrible decision has been made. I’m not a pro but really rely on photography as therapy, I will own zero cameras as of this week. It’s going to be really weird, like losing a friend. Wish me luck :(

Don't quit on a micro or macro level is so important. Reminds of James Popsys and his don't by 'micro lazy', you are there and you have the gear you need with you but you are too lazy to get out of the bag.

I never really got the whole standing on a street corner just shot shot shot or walking in the opposite way of people traffic and just firing away. Putting a camera in someone face and shooting. What is that anyway? To me it’s being lazy. Maybe it’s an adrenaline rush and that makes you think your a great photographer. I tried it and it is just boring and needs no skill. Anyway, good video and every “street photographer” needs to hear this.

Why don't we have nowadays superb photographies like those made by Cartier-Bresson and other ones? We have now very fast focusing cameras, digital cameras, Photoshop, etc. But I never see story telling photographies, with no composition, but only street images with people walking. Old style photographers had rudimentary cameras but their works are superb.
