Stuck dots are precisely why you don't see flip dot displays in commercial settings anymore. This is an extremely common issue.

@@Connorplayer123 True. Trams which have these displays get some pixels stuck like that over time. (50 years or more) But the new trams get the pixels stuck in less than 5 years.
