My Mom went to Burning Man alone (well, on the Green Tortoise, so with a group of strangers). I always thought that was brave of her to do.

We had the pleasure of hosting "Bry" and his parents in our camp (420 Snack Shack) at Freezer Burn 2024. What an amazing group of beautiful humans!! Congratulations on completing such a interesting and heartfelt journey together. The film is truly an inspiration: it is a testament to the genuine love shared within your family. Through openness and understanding love can be uniquely expressed in intentional communities such as Burning Man. With any luck some of that positivity can be carried forward and translated into everyday life.

One thing reading through the comments here is maybe it's just me but has no one a issue with curly hair one is cheating on her boyfriend. Maybe I'm old fashioned but just made me dislike her character straight away. Well shot and well acted for sure. But cheating stuff always leaves me uneasy.

VERPISST EUCH!

Do not be yourself. Be the best version of yourself. Recognize yourself. Work with the cards you are given. You have to play the cards you're dealt. It's okay to not be okay, but do not stay that way. Don't just sit there and accept yourself and think you're perfect the way you are and act like a victim for the rest of your life so you have an excuse to never change or improve your character.

last time i watched this i was about 14. i was very closeted and christian and watching this back then felt like i was doing something wrong but i am so glad i watched it. i’m 19 years old now, very out and very very VERY queer. the scene with Mike meeting a queer person for the first time and having to run away then seeing the same man happy and proud has been stuck in the brain for 5 years. when i first watched this I was Mike. Now at 19 i’ve been the person who helps another queer person see that being queer is a good thing. i’ve never felt so seen. thank you for making this, i can’t thank you enough

When they were shopping for outfits for the parents. Why you can’t have sequins?
@thisisaspoon

because sequins create garbage, they fall off. So no sequins and feathers etc allowed at Burning Man due to the "Leave no trace" principal.

Being gay is wrong, unless it’s women kissing Marriage isn’t between man and man, it’s between a man, and a woman, and a woman, and a woman, and a woman, and a woman- God hates gays, I mean, he did come here in the flesh and specifically told us about how wrong it was during his ministry, right? Right?

Respectfully I don’t see any evidence for your theology I’m gay and that’s okay, I’m not hurting one… it’s not wrong and I don’t see any ethical reason to digest otherwise
