Don't speek blindly with out knowledge. Science of Indian ancient knowledge. I created iridium using these technics. When you can't understand or can't make that not mean indian ancient science is fake.

What exactly are these 'rain stones'? I tried googling it (as well as 'varsopala'), but I couldn't find anything aside from this same recipe you use here. But there was nothing that said what they actually are or where they come from.

How hard are they? Can you drill holes through them in order to put them on a string? Do they split or change colour over time?

Thanks love & cute much! This presentation makes lots of sense in the art of purification with Gnosis/Knowledge. In brevity with a hint of satire christianity hasn't acknowledged this was the way to the wine & holy spirit instead of the illusionary biblical parables. The world would be very Jesus-like..😊 Also Manu in Sanskrit days was the first person to sacrifice his flesh to God with transmutation he would be impressed. Sir, Natural Coral is used in Rasa Shashtra Medicines but I very much doubt the artificially made Coral can be used for medicine because of severe toxicity of Cinnabar mineral used in your recipe. I appreciate your sincere efforts - being an European - to understand the Indian Alchemy. Have you ever read "RASA-JALA-NIDHI" BOOK VOLUME 1 to 5 ......

Have a look at the accompanying blogs on our website www.ayuryog.org. We talk about sources there (we are working with the Sanskrit originals, so this will be about editions of primary sources). We are currently working on a book: Indian Alchemy: Sources and Contexts. Hopefully, it will be published with Oxford University Press next year. But if you are more interested in the practical aspects of Rasashastra than its history, have a look at Andrew Mason's Rasashastra book (www.neterapublishing.com/rasa-shastra.html). He's just completed an updated version.

Does it not seem what Dr Christele Barois is suggesting through her research into the Dharmaputrika suggests the opposite of what Dr Birch is saying here?

I agree. They have differing perspectives on this subject. Dr Birch feels that, though one can find medical elements throughout yoga literature, they do not constitute an integral component of yogic thought. Dr Barois says that at least in the Dharmaputrika, a medical understanding of the body is a crucial element.
