Odd question but what do you do for haircuts and styling. We have pretty much the exact same hair. Also if you have any extra tips. We’re welding 1/2 tube .035”/.062” thick trying to get full pen and avoid the blueing on the bottom half of the tube. I know you said it gets harder on smaller tube but was wondering if you’ve learned any new tips since the video?? Thanks!
@KULLYCO15 сағат бұрын
When the tube is that small its hard to get the heat to dissipate enough to prevent bluing or coloring. If I was you -- I would turn the post flow up to like 15 seconds and just let it cool with post flow for a while. Then wait a bit in between welds to let the tube cool down just a bit. However, welds are completely fine with color!

Where are you obtaining grade 5 Ti tubing of this large diameter in smaller quantities? I can only find Grade 9 which is what most bike frames are made of. Gr.5 is usually bar stock or small diameter, but it is 15 to 20% stronger - so would prefer that if available above 1 inch diameter. Thank you!
