I have had my ‘24 Santa Cruz Heckler SL with the t-type XO transmission, since February. Broke the first cage in half on the second ride just by clipping it when I lost balance on a relatively low skinny stockade. Barely 200 miles later, and I just bent #2 by doing the same thing. This is getting expensive. Installing #3 today.

Here is my take on this Cube - 66yrs old , 9 st and 5ft 1 . - All of the above is true except for little old ladies and here's why . At 23kg you cannot lift it over fallen trees . If you cycle on rutted tracks the effort to keep it upright is exhausting and you are almost guaranteed to fall off and worse there is the possibility you will be trapped underneath ! A great bike with drawbacks that should be fixable with an open mind . We are playing catch up with technology and ignoring the needs of a number of users. Growing old is a privilege and it certainly isn't the end !🥰

That maclaren has definitely been beaten with the ugly stick, plus you can't alter the stem length. It's actually designed by another company and probably built by that company. And if it's as reliable as its cars you won't be riding it too often. It's also mixed up in some patent dispute with a German woman who claims the bar stem screen combo is her design and has a patent pending on it, personally I think she's on thin ice there.

This video stimulated my desire to try a Stumpjumper EVO Elite Alloy, only for me to find out that seven months after the video was released, Specialized no longer offers the Stumpjumper EVO Elite Alloy. The only alloy Stumpjumper EVO listed on the Specialized site today is the Comp level, which eliminates the high end suspension that was supposedly the key advantage over the Trek.

Sizing with canyon is tricky, I’m 5’8 so it says a small frame but I always ride a medium. Maybe it’s my napoleon complex kicking in to not have a small bike
@MBRmagazine11 күн бұрын
Just seen Troy Brosnan rides a small Strive:On and he’s 170cm, 175cm, or 176cm depending on which web profile you believe! 😂 Either way, small might be the way to go as it’ll not lack stability.

All of those points are true, but Canyon has only highlighted the advantages of each battery rather than the pros AND the cons.
@vgstb12 күн бұрын
The smaller battery is the way to go, 900 grams lighter and all that weight is removered from the top in the downtube. Makes it a really really playfull bike.
