For people who might struggle with the dash-cancel part I have a small tip: the way it works for me is just buffering the motion input during the normal and then pressing the dash macro slightly ahead of the HS button

I don't see the application for this with normal mode at all. It gives you 35% less rage meter than if you RC'd the 6S into 6H 214H and if you have 50 meter you might as well just use the K super after the wall breaks for greater frame advantage. Unless you're playing against Sin who can punish this with RTL on the super flash and MAYBE the WWA characters and Johnny, who'd need to act preemptively, then yeah, it makes sense. It seems like an important optimization for JR though, given how fucked you usually are if the super doesn't actually kill

The kara is nice and all, but in practice it's quite pointless. Outside of JR, you can confirm a jab into a super for more damage if it kills, but that is about it. I guess you can extend pressure with Kara K super during JR, but I'd rather save my meter for when I actually need it. As for the wall, you would never need this cause outside of JR you have no real reason to super and in JR it is pointless to go into super unless it kills and the extra scaling from first hit of rekka doesn't help.

In the corner looping 5K into kara key grab can be very oppressive and build quite a bit of JR meter. It's something you can abuse if the opponent refuses to FD.

i don't have the aba DLC so i can't test it but are you sure you need to press them at a different time? because potemkin's kara cancel needs you to do it at the same time. same thing is true with may, you can input the dolphin stop button (or hammerfall stop for potemkin) at the same time as their super button and it'll come out, hell even when i tested it i can actually do the super input FIRST. from what i've tried with sol and potemkin, the kara cancel that does require a delay between them is normal to special kara cancels

For hammerfall stop cancel you might be able to do that, but for the karas that use 6k and many other karas in the game such as chipp's, you do need plink timing.

it's probably more efficient to kara cancel into 632146K instead of 632146H to break the wall when you're already in Jealous rage so you can keep your offense post-wallbreak. you sacrifice damage for resource basically

I thought and was sure that Kara canceling in gg refers to specials inputs overlapping directional/lower priority inputs. I think this is just dash canceling.

Well to be fair you can use kara cancel to do dash cancel more effectively (motion first then kara dash/special input) but you're right. And kara cancelling as the same meaning in any fighting game lol

Frenzy and astonishment builds so much meter and I don't really see people using it. The fact that she can build meter at a distance is absolutely ridiculous. Zoners basically give her meter for free. She's a beast actually. Love her mechanics.

@@vitorgabriel6855 ok holy shit so my problem this whole time I think has been getting back to neutral after doing the special motion so that a dash actually happens, I just have to make sure I'm back to neutral before I do it and that realization just made me able to do it. 99% of my fails before resulted in just doing c.S into behemoth on Goldlewis, without the dash flame effect

I hope this stays cause her base form definitely needs it lol. So wild you can hold back while moving forward with her though [Note for those that can't surmise why it might be a bug] I would assume this would be semi unintentional due to how her dash/run works in base form as her JR form is a traditional run (just a solid speed with no ramp up, ramp up could just be set to start max intended speed, etc) which many characters already share so it can basically share code. Different entire movement (dash/run hybrid) can lead to specific bugs such as being able to hold any non-jumping direction while moving forward. Cause honestly who is going to think that's going to work when all the other characters with a run, it stops you? It's the main reason why this video exists. Not many would think it would work.

@@NoSmoke1 Made some edits to preface why it may not be. But it's likely it will be left alone. But the reason she loses it in Rage is because Rage has an entirely different dash. Like entirely different code is running for that run.
