The SK1 is better because it gives you a bit more flexibility with the firmware being the mobile version with the mobile version of the Google Play Store. You can display your apps nicely on the launcher's dashboard. With the Nvidia Shield, you have a Google-certified device that can stream Netflix in HD and 4K officially. However, you have the Android TV version of the Google Play Store which is restricted, and it does not give you the flexibility running Android TV OS. You also don't get root access with the Nvidia Shield if you need it.

I can explain why you are having difficulty finding the product in Europe or China. The manufacturers that are located in China usually list their products on Alibaba or Aliexpress under a different name. They usually create a separate brand for the same product to sell on Amazon. So HYTOBP is an Amazon or US region only brand and you won't find it in Europe or China. The Pj40 has brighter lumens. It's more difficult to focus than the GROVIEW C58 because it does not have autofocus. However, If you had to choose between the two based on just pure picture quality the PJ40 would win

There are two ways you can connect the box for surround sound audio. The first way is by connecting the box directly to your TV, and the optical audio to your receiver. Providing your TV as Surround sound audio pass-through you may get Surround sound formats such as Dolby Atmos pastoral to the receiver. The second way is connecting the box to one of your receiver's HDMI input first, and then the HDMI output from the receiver to your television. What happens in this scenario is that it guarantees you get Surround sound formats via the speakers connected to your receiver only, as the receiver will assume all audio functions and are not the TV speaker. Another thing to note is that there is a misconception about optical audio that is superior to HDMI audio. This is not the case. @@tvboxstop Thanks, I think I'm a step close to finding a solution. I got to thinking if it is possible to go audio out through the USB port to USB in on my DAC. I asked in Ugoos chat support, bit I haven't gotten an answer yet.

What you really need is a device on your Windows computer that has an HDMI input not the VLC player because Windows and Android have different screen casting protocols. You can use a game capture card or capture box that will display the box on your computer via an interface app where you may be able to maximize it to full-screen.

The Elite vendor that supplies the line of elite streaming apps has pulled out and it appears permanent. The elite boxes however still have their default streaming apps up and running. The elite apps are alternative apps. The providers of the elite boxes would have to find alternatives to replace them.

Hi @rdar9630 I'm not disputing your problematic experience with this box, but there are many factors that can contribute to what you are experiencing. 1. Slow Internet speed 2. Internet provider 3. IP throttling 4. Home network issues (data distribution) 5. vSeeBox server issues and or maintenance 6. VPNs 7. Telecommunication laws in your country 8. Overheating of the box 9. Faulty router 10. Incompatible Wi-Fi protocol (box has issues modern Wi-Fi 6 router) I use the V2 pro which is the older model everyday since May 2023, and I have experienced channels briefly going down for maintenance but not at a scale where it goes on for days usually 2 to 5 minutes and then it returns as soon as you switch to the next channel and return to the previous one, and this happens once in a while. I can attest to vSeeBox having the best server out of all other models. Because I have compared the services and I found that vSeeBox is the most consistent. Right now as I speak Tanggula is down since this morning and vSeeBox is still up and running. So are there going to be times when the servers go down? Yes they are going to be times because they need to perform server maintenance to either change defective equipment or upgrade. There are also times when you are going to receive the firmware update to add or remove channel. Once a channel is affected by slow Internet or loses Internet connection it will display the channel on the maintenance message it does not necessarily mean the channel is down. When my IP service provider's service goes down or reboots at 2 AM in the morning I get that under maintenance message, so if you like any fault message for everything.
