I use slow radius bends and the black 15mm polyplumb pipe inserts as clip spacers. Then slowly slip the climaflex lagging over. Never use the well expensive condensate pro, rip off is an understatement.

great video mate as always not sure that new powerhead has sorted it though as it didn't work until you put the HW on as well 🤔 did you try HW only then CH only? i find that sometimes it will work OK if you do it in a certain sequence which will fool you i reckon you might be back there ☹️

Handy tip ,Next time, mark cables before removing from old boiler , it would have been quicker and neater to replace back to wiring centre. no junction box required then . you had the 5 core on your van aswell . But as you say you were having a bad day.

Motorised valve takes a few seconds to turn the cam before it hits the microswitch, but I'm sure you know that and it's just red mist. Happens to us all 😂

As always brilliant video, everyone has a bad day and you’re not afraid to admit it, van still looks good especially in the wet 😂 It’s one of the few things I hate about my van the warning bings n bongs, I know it’s in park/door is open/handbrake is on I’m not stupid, If I’m watching a video with a Ford in it the wife will say is that a Ford I heard the chimes 😂. In other news I can drive tomorrow that’s 6 weeks since the knee replacement 🥳

I had a nightmare with press fittings last week 😂 maybe it's a cursed month for them. I had an arguement with someone over the right way round for filling loop valves. He was adamant the check valve didn't matter which pipe it went on 😂

Hi Dan. Looks like timber kit house. Up here in Scotland the majority of new houses built have been timber kit for the last 30 years or so. Initially it was 100mm timber stud fully insulated with vapour barrier and plasterboard on the inside. OSB with building paper on the cavity side, cavity and brick or rendered block as an outside skin. Modern kits are now typically 150mm stud fully insulated. Some also have additional insulation on the inside of the stud before the plasterboard. We rarely have inside block skin now. Soil pipe sleeve is a no no though. Good video

On the edge syphon mate, below the c clip on the plunger, check under the plastic washer to see if there is an o ring missing? Seems like the syphon is breathing air as soon as it passes there

Those Dudley syphons you have to take the rubber washer off the side and fit it inside on the plastic near the spring and you will always get full flush mate

Try Rapid Blu liquid PTFE and you can tighten it until it’s straight and it should set ok

Yeah, agreed with Richie below, or just make sure you put enough PTFE wraps on. I found 20 is about right.

The Junior suffered from poor APS positioning. Melting tubes that restrict the flue airway. PCB resistors and relay issues. Plus the blue transformer. Fan has to be spotless too, runs on fast, then slow. Check for flame lift at burner. The twin pass heat exchanger is, by far the worst job you will ever attempt on one of these.
