I followed the Sabres for several seasons on Twitter and I have to say the fans really liked Eichel. The negativity was slow to kick in..following the management decision to disallow his neck surgery treatment. The fans were apprehensive about the future of the team without him. The perception he was disliked really just is not reflective of the enthusiasm the fanbase had for him. Buffalo had many elite players in their locker room during Eichel’s time in Buffalo. The coaching and management were ineffective and Eichel as a talented player contributed consistently. The locker room fell short but to say Eichel was perceived as the problem there..the whole situation there was subpar. Pat Brisson did a great job of facilitating Eichel’s exit from Buffalo…and the fact the trades benefited both teams netted each franchise a good situation that remains relevant going into 2024-2025.

Wow... are you two really still this bad???? I mean seriously??? Now your talking about coach's alleged previous actions with his previous team??? And puffing up your chests about your call for when the coach is gonna get fired??? .... As someone said in the comments already...those teams have won nothing since he left them....... I gave you 7 good topics...you used a couple of them.... please use the other 5 and I'll give you another 10... if you would like I'll give you 3 a day...... In an effort to be Fair I checked out many of the other locked on podcast... and as I thought they actually talk about hockey ...and what's going on around the league... and current news.... they don't spend their hour-long podcast downing the local team.... you should really try that... maybe watch a couple of the other Podcast and get an idea of how to run a podcast that people want to come and listen to an engage.... do you ever Wonder WHY your engagement is SO low??? Also get rid of the dumb inside jokes between yourselves ...and start talking real hockey and news and something people want to actually listen to... this is below pitiful ....almost as bad as the lighting wherever Tony is at 🤨🤨🤨👎🏽...... Here's one... maybe get on a golden Knight trainer and ask them what are they gonna do this year to help the players increase their time on ice... increase the recovery strength of the older players...what has changed... what's the plan..... That gentleman is a subject that people would love to find out about ...not how much Tony doesn't like the coach or how much he doesn't like the new draft pick... because we've heard that at nauseam....

Voila you are spot on in your comment. You have just stated what I would have typed. I have been subscribed to this show since the Knight's hired Cassidy but am seriously thinking about unsubscribing now. The old man co host can't even read his notes properly each show stuttering and fumbling over his delivery. I don't mea to sound mean but he should seriously consider retiring to i a Senior citizen mobile home park as I think the only reason he is on this show is either he is related to the bald mdin hodt or is a sympathy hire. Getting back to Cassidy all players on all teams have fun ins with coaches and even management at times. When they decide they get tired of the current coach they talk amongst themselves and suddenly don't start showing up at games to get the coach fired. That simple And beiing a long time Bruins fan that's what happened with them. I am glad Mr Cassidy sin the cup because that showed the hockey world Sweeney and Neely were full of it and the worst mistake any management can do is let the players decide who to hire and fire that's what happened in Boston's case And instead of debrusck going to TMZ LOL and whining and bitching about how unfair Cassidy was all he had to do was standard office procedure and contact the management privately and say I think the coach was treating me unfairly etcetera etcetera and probably would have solved the problem and instead tried to blame it all on Cassidy when it wasn't Cassidy's fault even though I'm certain they were personality factors involved in all of this since I wasn't there every day as the saying goes but that happens even in real life office jobs Anyway great comment here thank you gif submitting it you took the words out of my mouth. Hoping these tdi gents take your advice and start acting like they radio hosts instead of TMZ would be employees

Vegas Golden Knights will be a Stanley Cup contender with little or any injuries .They had 9 surgeries to players last year NOT PLAYING 100 % .

Gentlemen sorry i missed your last few shows...but Thank you for requesting the Help😉 ...Here are some suggested topics. #1 How can the Knights improve their Power play scoring? # 2 Do the Knights need to bring in more special teams coaching help?....#3 How can they improve their physicality? #4 is there a veteran tough guy like Ryan Reaves that they can bring in?....#5 Would improving their physicality disrupt their flow, perhaps resulting in too many penalties since they are one of the lower penalized teams in the league? #6 Which teams in the Pacific division have improved the most so far in the off-season? #7 Are there any unsigned free agents like Daniel Sprong that don't play such great defense but could be a strong offensive element for us that the team should be targeting? #8 Are there things the team should be doing to improve the fan experience for the upcoming season?

These conclusions are very puzzling. McCrimmon doesn't have a plan? VGK's failed with free agency? VGK's off-season is a failure? I couldn't disagree more. First bad conclusion - VGK's failed with free agency. NOT SO! To the contrary. VGK's signed the BEST pending July 1st free agent defenseman, Noah Hannifin. McCrimmon is so sharp that he was way out in front of all GM's by signing this free agent on April 12, 10 weeks before July 1st. He's a genius because he signed Hannifin before the other 31 GM's could bid up the price. This proves 'bad conclusion' Number 2, that McCrimmon doesn't have a free agent plan, is incorrect. He simply acted on his plan 10 weeks before July 1st. Hannifin BY FAR was the best free agent D-Man available. A failure? How about Carolina and Dallas losing trade acquisitions Guentzel and Tanev in free agency. McCrimmon didn't lose his trade piece. Next, bad off-season? The off-season started just 3 weeks ago. The off-season is 15 weeks, from June 25 to October 8. Since we're only 3 weeks in, how can you rate it as a failure? Max Pacioretty was acquired on September 10th of the off-season. Nic Hague was signed on October 10th. It is absolutely wrong to say that VGK's are having a bad off-season just three weeks in. There isn't a day that goes by that I am not pleased that McCrimmon is running VGK's and not the podcasters and writers. You guys always complain, "Get younger." And McCrimmon got the team younger. Then you say, "You overpaid." So, McCrimmon doesn't overpay Marchy and Stevie, but you say McCrimmon has failed. Very, very hard to take The Peanut Gallery seriously.

Barber is a tough player to find. Grinder with skill. I don't know if there is a guy in the league that hits as hard as him for his size. It's a pleasure to watch. Added bonus I wouldn't want to get rough with #9 if I knew barber was on the ice or bench.

we are a playoff team as is... when other teams get desperate for Defensemen bc of injuries or bad play, we will be able to make a big trade and get an elite winger. Every year we are a contender, we should never doubt GMKM's plan

Vegas's offseason was last season's trade deadline. Adding Hertl and Hanifin were huge, and they added some new misfits this offseason like Olafsson and Holtz. Losing so many players hurts, but we were never going to keep everyone with how close to the cap we are.

Olofsson has a hell of a shot and should be placed with Eichel on the first PP unit to flourish in Vegas just not on the first line..but outside of his cannon of a shot? there is little else to his game, he is 100% non physical, does not fight to get in front of the net or go to the corners to get his nose dirty and he plays a very invisible game..if the Knights fans expect any more than a one dimensional player? they are going to be upset..but? yes, he can score 20-25 goals if he gets top PP time
