Living in Manchester U.K. but having extended family in Ireland, Donegal’s Carrickfin airport would be a far better option than doing 5 hours by coach from Dublin via Enniskillen and Ballyshannon or even by train to Sligo and coach to Donegal Town and Letterkenny - my Mum was a big fan of Daniel O’ Donnell in Kincasslagh and arriving in for the Mary of Dungloe festival, flying in is a much more relaxed way to do so - if there was direct flights from Manchester I would definitely consider Donegal as a tourist destination for a much more relaxing holiday

Estou escrevendo a minha terceira obra.

Really enjoyed your tour of the weavers house and weaving skills in late July Martina. Revisiting the home village of my mother and grandmother after many years away. It was great to be back and hope to return again before too long.

A beautiful place. I've visited Arranmore a few times over the years. My grandparents took me as a child. Then I went with a friend when I was in my teens. We stayed at the old hostel, that was right on the shore - there were people from all over the world there. Some serious drinking done on Early's. Great stories . I always imagined I would live at the lighthouse ine day. Went back to visit again when I was 20 or so. Troubled. My friend who was with me died a year ago. He was troubled too. Now I am far from home. Like so many of us.

I would highly recommend a tour with Anton. A group of us took his tour a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. He has an extensive amount of knowledge to share about the natural landscape as well as the history of the island. We made our way to the wishing stone as well as other sites he mentioned in this video. The chapel, as he says, has beautiful stained glass windows that are not to be missed. But the beautiful landscape of Tory Island is a work of art itself. Thanks to Anton for his generosity in sharing his island with us.

Myself and some friends recently took a tour of Tory Island with Anton. He was easy to contact to scheduled the tour; he met us on the pier when we disembarked from the ferry. My group would not have learned about the history, culture and life on Tory Island without his stories and knowledge and willingness to share this information with tourists. A trip to Tory Island was a highlight of our second visit to Co. Donegal

Hello Madam, I am the great niece of Marie Howet and remember so well when I went to Achill in 1970 (maybe 71) to say hello to Brigit, where my Tante Marie used to stay when she was going over. She did publish a book by Antoine Hamilton, the Irish writer, which she illustrated in 1927 (Histoire de fleur d'Epine). I did bring the book to the IMMAabout 30 yrs ago. I have a few beautifull paintings from Achill here at home, and severel copies of Ara. Now feel I want to go back to Ireland. My Irish roots I guess. Should you send me ur email adress I wud end u a few pictures. Best regards, Françoise Fincoeur

I went there for a couple of days towards the end of '93, before crossing the Irish Sea to London. Things were very broken up, unsettled back then, but I glimpsed a double 🌈 the following morning, which was the Lord's way of showing me that my ministry wasn't over, and that He had better things ahead. PTL!! Three decades have lapsed and I am completely blown away at how far He has brought me. HALLELUJAH!!!
