So I believe the company Heng Long stopped producing the version with the Porsche Turret unfortunately. But some sellers still do have them in super limited quantities. Depending on condition and how complete the Halftrack is current sold comps on Ebay range from $200-$400. Most selling within the $350-$400 range.

Interesting if you look at older images online, there are some showing the entire area (pool, walls & ceiling) as just exposed red brick. It appears the whole thing was painted white at one point. 🤔

I agree, it’s been 2yrs since I’ve made this video so I’ve had a chance to do some more research, The glossy paint found on Hungarian M70 steel helmets was indeed not primarily for infrared protection. Instead, it served as a protective coating to prevent corrosion and enhance durability. While some helmets designed for military use may incorporate infrared protection measures, the glossy paint on the M70 helmet primarily functioned as a protective layer against environmental factors. Also, as you stated it is cheaper to produce.

I can see what you mean, I’ve already weathered/painted the tracks to look muddy or dirty more realistic. Still though I’d say having metal tracks are a nice touch. The less plastic the better.
