one unfortunate thing following the incredible buzzer beater at 1:17 - the next game northern iowa found themselves in a similar situation but with a lot more time on the clock and they were down, this same guy chucked it from half court with like 5 seconds left, missed badly and they lost the game. but at least in this moment he was perfect

@@reecetaylor661 its not a personal shot at the guy, its just factual that slower, heavier, ball dominant post play does not translate from college to the nba nearly as well as pretty much every other archetype. Same thing with Timme & Edey. Fucking phenomenal ball players but the current league meta doesn't really support their style of play very well.

2016 was just such an insane year. so many buzzer beaters, so many upsets, and that comeback after being down by 12 with 40 seconds left. it had more moments like that than the next 7 years combined.

Yes, he had a great tournament but there was never an insane moment besides the “Cardiac Kemba” shot he hit in the Big East tournament. That shot wasn’t in the actual march madness tournament
