Batman Begins Rachel: Has agency and gets to actually do stuff in the story, even though it endangers her repeatedly. Dark Knight Rachel: Walks in Harvey's shadow the entire film and doesn't get to do much in the story besides being a walking macguffin. In short, I found Katie's Rachel more interesting because, unlike Maggie's Rachel, she was allowed to be an active player in her movie. Also, Yes! Cat definitely got my tongue.

I think my perfect Batman look would be the costume from the first few seasons but with the cape draped over the shoulders like in the later iterations and with the Justice League utility belt and Bat-Symbol.

This is the first time I've heard anyone claim Maggie Gyllenhaal was the superior actress for this role. Of course, this role is right up there with Jenny from Forrest Gump in being hated by the fans regardless.

I find it interesting that no one points out that half of the villains in the Dark Knight Trilogy were white washed until now, so thank you for that. They were all excellently acted though. I can't lie about that

Katie = Likeable character in Batman Begins, attractive woman, but not a great actor Maggie = Unlikable in The Dark Knight, fugly, decent actress Maggie is one of the main reasons I dislike The Dark Knight. That and how they wrote Bruce in the movie.

In defense of Mike Adamle in retrospect, it wasn’t his fault. If it wasn’t for Vince’s ego, he would’ve not sign Mike in the first place that’s because Vince wasn’t aware that Adamle had been dealing with concussions during his career in football and his voice was starting to getting slurred. Putting him as RAW GM was a bad idea. 2008 was a weird year for the company.

My guess is that the writers of the show wanted it to end with Will and Lisa getting married, but NBC wanted one more season, so they made them split in the season 5 finale and we got that weird sixth and final season.

The 1968 cartoon series had one hilarious episode where a computer drones: "Batman's real identity is B-B-B. . ." coming close to blowing Batman's cover! In fact, he sabotaged the computer. They had some wacky but enjoyable stories back then. Hats off to Filmation for all their hard work. 🤣🤣🤣😹😹😹❤️

So what will be next for Vee Infuso to criticise from the Dark Knight Trilogy? the Batmobile? The Bat Suit? The Bat? His is criticism of Katie Holmes is a bit too much, she played Rachel Dawes very well, and her character only needed saving by Batman once when Rachel was gased by the Scarecrow. The third time Rachel stopped Craine, and was willing to shoot the Arkham Inmates, to call Katie Holmes Rachel a Damsel in Distress is wrong. Maggie Gyllenhaal's Rachel was a Damsel in Distress, and was in no way believable as Assistant DA.

This Joker goes full blown bananas, full chaotic crazy. you don't know what he's going to do in any situation. he turns from silly to angry on a dime and is more intimidating because of it. Mark Hammel felt more serious in the role, it felt more grounded and sometimes gave serial killer vibes, especially in Return of the Joker. They are both solid takes, and saying either is bad would be disrespecting the amazing performances both these actors made.

My biggest problem with this trilogy was Two-face,Talia, Scarecrow and Catwoman's lack of screen time hell I forgot They we're even in this series
@monobro141Күн бұрын
Not to be rude but..... It really feels like she was only made to be apart of Two-Face's story (which isn't really saying much due to his lack of screen time as Two-Face and overshadowed by Joker)

I saw the series when it first came out in 68' as an 8 year old. It was the best along with the live action. FILMATION also did a very good series with Aquaman, The Flash and Superman too. Very faithful to the comic origins. Ted Baxter did the narration. And the Music was Fun to listen.

@mangaasКүн бұрын
The character was a failure, because people didn't even understand that it was the same character recast. Maggie Gylenhall is also not "love interest" material for a blockbuster comic book movie. She belongs in a Wes Anderson film, where they can mask her ugliness under "quirky nerd" vibes and costumes.

9:24 This villain is a one-shot called The Judge, an escaped criminal who's MO is to draft a jury who would condemn crime fighters and benefactors ("Who's the richest man in Gotham City?"). I wouldn't be too harsh on this series. Filmation did things on the cheap for a number of its cartoons. Superman, The Justice League, Star Trek, Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids, Scooby Doo...the lists is endless. I loved them as a kid and I have fond memories of them now. Incidentally, Batman's voice was provided by Olan Soule (who had a dramatic radio voice but on TV and film played lab-coats and IRS auditors) and Robin was a young Casey Kassem.
