HR is protection for the organization. Going to them doesn’t help. It’s better to confront the bully yourself.

They seem to play favorites with married guys. I think they're intimidated by single guys, that's why it's harder to get a promotion until you're married or have kids. Insucure yuppies to the max

Yes, an incompetent manager masking their fear by trying to control everything. That's the absolute worst to deal with. I'd rather deal with an outright asshole who knows what they're doing.

I was mandatorily transferred into job the company couldn’t fill. I was happy and successful in my previous that I had for over 2 years. I had a great supervisor and director. For the last two months I hate my job in string part because of my now supervisor. He didn’t want to be bothered with questions that he thought he already answered. If I asked he just didn’t answer. It’s toxic and intimidating. I have to learn this job but the supervisor has shut me down so to speak. Demands that I just do it. I can’t just do it. The job is completely different than what I did for the first 2 years in the previous position. I can’t sleep. I can’t get my stomach to settle down. I’m crying two or three times a week. I start dreading work. Oh late Saturday come Sunday and and and I have no peace and I fear making a mistake. I fear not knowing what I’m doing constant fear and I just wanna go home, and see how I can be successful under these conditions why he would want not to be successful. Why wouldn’t he want me to be? Please tell me what I can do I wanna go back to the other position that they took me out of and let somebody else have this position.

Managing people is a skill. Just like if you were an Engineer. You have to have skills to do that job. Companies are more than willing to promote and hire individuals who don't have any management skills but to the company it's a natural progression to move from their current position to a management position. It's ridiculous. Just because someone was good at programming or doing some other specific job they shouldn't be promoted to manage people unless they have the skill! I've seen so many failures that cost the company good people and a lot of money.

5 weeks of work in a department the religious toxic innuendos makes me want to laugh at them, but I won’t. Still being professional and respectful as much as possible and just decided to take 4 weeks annual leave at last minute notice. Hope no1 is offended by that and hoping I find a new job offer preferably soon work from home situation eventually then I can practice my religion in peace and not offend anyone for having a divine belief. All love ❤️ always!

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace," MLK./ Today's generation select leaders based upon reality game show psychology. The strongest is not selected, usually it is the weakest so the person in leadership can maintain status quo. This ideology is behind such shows as 'Survivor.' In this manner, corporate culture does not change, it is able to continue the practices of yesteryear.
