The thing I love about scoreboard timers is that you can add time to them or deduct time from them while they're running. Heck, you can even pause them by using a boolean dummy value. This can be incredibly useful for certain minigames.

When i built it in 1.20.4 it blew itself up occasionally and i cant figure out why. Like it works smoothly 75% of the time, but sometimes it just blows up the entire machine.

tried to follow along. got to the scoreboard timer and had it set to 40, then I replicated the countdown but could'nt get it to countdown. went through video a couple of times but i could'nt get it to work. I would like to set something like t his up in order to execute function every few seconds rather than every tick but That's where I got lost.

I think making their snowballs do half a heart of damage and have the powdered snow effect when hit is a fine buff. I hate that such a cute mob is so weak 😭

For some reason, whenever I try to set a mob that drops a loot table, it doesn't work. I already spelled check the command to make sure I didn't misspell anything. you need to make an "item" folder in the textures folder and put the texture in it, then in the .json file of the **REPLACED** item you have to replace the value of "layer0" with "minecraft:item/nameofyourtexture", atleast thats what i did

It takes entire decade for datapacks to being really functional for creating something like Witchery, Thaumcraft or Astral Sorcery type magic content. Too bad, Microsoft mostly favors B*drock edition and I feel really bad for console players (even mobile players can modify pocket edition). Even most outdated potato laptop can run ancient modpacks, while consoles despite having recent versions can't even install lightweight things like FastLeafDecay or JEI.

I dunno if it is cuz of visions/ updates but the common isn't working. Also the "tag" is "Minecraft custom data" now so that may have some part in it. (btw, I checked and it is on always active, repeat, and unconditional)(btw2, I did try Minecraft custom data and tag) What I put in: execute as @e[type=minecraft:snowball,nbt={Item:{"Minecraft:custom_data":{water:1b}}}] run say hi
