Ok. I stopped at 1.17 in. My beloved cat was a free feeder, he was also a very hunter and would stay out in the jungle here in Thailand for hours, returning with the odd rat or snake. He developed CKD which I highly suspect was down to kibble (ugh) and yearly vaccinatIions every year. His kidney disease was diagnosed shortly after the introduction of yet another vax early that year. Thence in sheer desperation and terror I'd stupidly taken him to every inept vet in my locale, the last two of whom saw him off with wholly inappropriate meds. My cat in England had just one vet visit to be spayed, no injections, wet food and lived until 15, unlike beloved cat at 9. Tip for you and your cat. Stay away from doctors and vets. You paid by the vet association? Many are.

@@goldfishh26 Thank you. I do feel very strongly, particularly in light of recent circumstances, pharma companies are responsible for a lot of suffering of by both human and other species animals. The vet said how healthy he looked. He visited me the day of his passing but I'm still in grief for him. He's not a memory but with me in a different form. (look up quantum physics). A few months ago one of my neighbour's cats came to stay. I feed her wet food only and absolutely no vaxxes. The only caveat to my stance is puppies MUST have vaccinations against Parvo and Distemper. I've seen what happens when they don't. Stay as far away as possible from the med and look up 'is your vet killing your pet'. Eye opener that one.

Hi, 🐦🐦🐦May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?

It all sounds fine and great but I took on a rescue cat 18 months old who hadn’t been taught well. I have got on well but suddenly he will attack my right arm and dig his claws in and it bleeds I have therefore screamed through pain and managed to get him to let go. Lots of people have made suggestions like blowing on him to make him let go but so far screaming and hitting the wood stairway seems to be the only way to let go. Any help or advice would be gratefully received. Thank you

"Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. Dealing with a cat's aggressive behavior can be challenging, especially with a rescue cat that may have had a difficult past. It's important to approach the situation with patience and understanding. Firstly, I would recommend consulting with a veterinarian to rule out any underlying medical issues that could be contributing to your cat's behavior. Once any potential health concerns have been addressed, you can focus on behavior modification techniques. One approach is to redirect your cat's aggression by providing appropriate outlets for play and exercise, such as interactive toys and scratching posts. Positive reinforcement training can also be effective in teaching your cat alternative behaviors. Additionally, it's crucial to avoid reinforcing aggressive behavior with punishment or physical force, as this can escalate the situation and damage your bond with your cat. Instead, try to remain calm and composed during interactions with your cat, and use gentle methods to encourage positive behavior. If you're struggling to manage your cat's aggression on your own, consider seeking guidance from a certified animal behaviorist or professional trainer who can provide personalized advice and support. What is your cat's environment and daily routine, to better understand its situation and offer more specific recommendations? Remember, addressing aggressive behavior takes time and consistency, so be patient and persistent in your efforts. I hope these suggestions are helpful, and I wish you the best of luck in resolving this issue with your cat."

Why don't people use scent to control Kitty behavior. Like wiping down counter tops with vinegar or citrus?
@goldfishh26
@goldfishh26 3 ай бұрын
"Using vinegar or citrus can be effective in deterring cats from certain areas or behaviors. Cats often dislike the smell of these substances and may be less likely to jump on countertops or scratch furniture if these scents are present. However, it's important to use these methods safely and in a way that doesn't harm your cat or damage your belongings. Additionally, while these methods can help with certain behaviors, positive reinforcement and providing appropriate alternatives, like scratching posts or designated play areas, are also important for managing kitty behavior in a loving and humane way."

I rescued a feral/community cat. He'd been through some rough stuff. He walked up to me on the porch limping badly. My daughter and I thought he was hit by a car and rushed him to our vet. It was actually a bad bite mark possible from a dog. The vet showed us the x-rays she took and he had healed over broken ribs. As friendly as he is, I think he started marking and got thrown out. It's been a long road getting the other pets (dogs and cats) used to him. He hangs out in my bedroom and the bathroom for safety. I look forward to bedtime because he gets up on my chest and "whiskers" me with his long whiskers. And his rumbly purrs is also great.
