Although two friends of mine grow long beans totally neglected, allowing them to sprawl and just getting a light harvest, I intend to follow your method, alternating plantings on two 3m long trellises. As well as their normal green and red varieties , I have been able to buy some seeds of different cultivars which I will try in later gardens. I really like your video, as you have such a full understanding of your work. Best wishes from tropical Australia!

Great video. Sweet potatoes leaves is a popular vegetable in Sierra Leone. We use the leaves to cook delicious Sweet Potatoes leave sauce; which is generally eaten with rice. How do you keep the bugs from eating the leaves? I'm growing some leaves this summer but the bugs have been eating through the beautiful leaves.

This is my 4th try at germinating eggplant seeds this year. I've never had any problems germinating them in previous years but this year they just won't do it. It's June 19th, here in the Deep South, nice and warm, and my seeds were saved from last year's plants. Got more soaking in water and will follow your very good direction with these. Thank you for your video!

Excellent video. I have seeds just germinated and was looking for information. You've covered everything. However I don't understand the quick 3 week replanting. I don't have that much time but will replant after say twice that. Commonly called 'snake bean' in Queensland. I will follow your advice. I thought long bean only grew in summer but here in the Tropics winter is fine, too. Daytime temperatures are 22°-27° C.
