Thanks for the video, and having it in the correct aspect screen shape for the time period... Also I think the #4876 GG-1 was the one painted in a special way in 1975-1976, bicentennial red white and blue.

Is it okay if I can borrow the footage starting at 4:45 so I can compare 4120 from then and now? I’m trying to make a comparison video since I followed the 40th Anniversary train two weeks ago.

One question did the engineer on the E60 then operate the diesel engine to Bay Head or does another engineer operate it to Bay Head? The same question on trains from Bay Head to New York?

This was the last railfan weekend and I have to say it was a flop to all the previous ones. Very disappointing and they had much more railroad to work with then Temple to Hamburg ever did. Very poorly planned event in comparison to the previous weekends.

Rogers whistle on 425 in the spring and early summer of 1987 sounded fantastic. 2102 had the Boston & Maine on her for her passenger whistle. What a great weekend! 1987 was a wonderful year to be alive for a steam enthusiast!

@@ethanmorel2746no that’s the Boston & Maine. She also wore a Great Northern Whistle and a Frisco 6 chime that year. The Frisco whistle she wore on the Harrisburg and both Christmas Shoppers trips. What a fantastic whistle that was. This Boston & Maine has been worn by 425 on many occasions and sounds really good on her too.

Great photos of a very brief and interesting era in railroad history! The 'load box' is fascinating, almost looks like the dynamic brake section from an F or E unit? And the video's 'score' is brilliant...very Revelation Video-esque!
