Beside the fact that the Hilux has road stability problems and it tends to tip over this particular vehicle seems top heavy and has very long rear overhang which influences its departure angle off road but also its weigh distribution. My experience with the Hilux proved it to be an exceptionally unreliable vehicle. It got stuck 165 time the first year I owned it and I purchased it new. Look for a better options.

In the 60's & 70's the gyro scene was totally different, far more dangerous for the novice, the machines being unforgiving of pilot error, many fatalities during that time. In theory, they should of been safe & easy to fly, however, you needed to be aware of the flight envelope , the limitations & comfortable with the flight controls, you either had the touch to stay safe or stay away from them & stick to fixed wing. It's a far better era for flying these machines now, much more expensive, but safer & that's what's important.
