@@curiouschao1 Not really since that isn’t true. You can give a leader the support they need but it doesn’t matter if another leader’s support is too oppressive and counters your playstyle. PY Pudding & BP King were given all the tools to be great and it didn’t matter because RP Law is too oppressive. Power creep has gotten to the point where you can’t make assumptions like that anymore. If 3 months ago you would’ve showed someone Pudding, Marco & King reveals and said that none of them would be meta nobody would’ve believed you. If your playstyle can’t compete with the best deck you’re not good, & powercreep has gotten so exponential that it has made predicting the competitive climate feel like a coin toss.

You can add the disclaimer that we all hope and pray that we get saved from the Law OP08 format, I just felt like a lot of the video was dedicated to facts that are kinda known that don’t really have anything to do with these leaders. I understand where you’re coming from though.

And to that end, I didn’t say that your conclusion has to be that these will be regional winners, it’s just how far could it be pushed if it got a perfect pool of support and what would that look like.

@@curiouschao1 I hear you, but if you look at older reveal critiques where we did that and gave full disclosure, in the event the speculative prediction ended up being wrong the obnoxious commenters that don’t understand nuance go “Remember when you were wrong about Vivi? What about Yamato?” almost a year later. I stopped doing critiques altogether for a while because it just wasn’t worth it anymore since it stopped being fun. This is the middle ground now since the alternative is not speaking on a leader at all. If my hobby that I do for fun turns into something I dread doing I just won’t do it anymore. Notice there is no Ain video? You have other commenters to thank for that lol.

Yes! Coincidentally, we're about to enter OP07 where blue experiences a renaissance and is about to be the best it's been since OP01. In 3 months it also gets a new starter deck that buffs it making it its strongest its ever been. A blue/black leader was recently banned but he was primarily black with only 2-3 blue cards so its hard to count him.

Maybe not? At least not until we see another 3+ cards from her. She’s going to be so reliant on her support that until we see more cards it’s really hard to say. She can either be really good or really bad depending on what they give her.
