tainting another person's reputation by insinuating that another person is cheating in a game where cheating could mean an investigation and a loss of endorsements is something serious. WORDS HURT MORE THAN ANY ATTEMPTS TO HIT SOMEONE. You can heal from a wound, but words that hurt someone or someone's career could last a long time. Try that with me and i will sue your ass. Defamation has no place in elite professional tennis.

medical time out is ridiculous, if you have pain during the game just give up or continue with pain....djokovic used a lot of medical time out during his career, especially when he was about to lose....please find another medical time out more than 3 minutes in other sports????

The umpire was wrong only at the first one. Others touched the line and Karen got crazy for no reason, that's the rules for atp 250 and he knows that

Can someone please explain why this shot was legit? He clearly hit the ball with the racket before hitting the ground but then the ball bounced from the ground into the opponents side. Is this a valid point in tennis? PS: no need for sarcasm, I have not played tennis in my life and I just occasionally watch it on TV.

Sloane’s best feature is her big fat mouth, accusing people of faking injuries when she knows nothing about Nastia’s body. Just an instigator who doesn’t understand fair play of going against your opponent (it’s in the rules) just like she complained about Serena’s saying “come on” like 2x as “disrespectful.” She creates her own drama.

If Sloan wouldve been in a interview saying she wanted to hit pavlyuchenkova with HER racket, said she wanted to hit pavlyuchenkova in the stomach with an overhead, AND started speaking about how she can “be very aggressive” everyone, including the interviewer, would’ve been shaming Sloan for her attitude and called her an angry black woman. Pavlyuchenkova wanted to harm sloan because she felt disrespected????? AND she gets to say how she wanted to harm Sloan and giggle with the interviewer. They can both burn in hell. Happy Sloan won that point AND the match. Foh

“ Many people have never seen this side of me” girl fuck the side we have AND haven’t seen😂😂😂 focus on hitting the BALL with that racket. You wanted to hit sloan cuz she called you out on ya bullshit? If she really wanted to get to sloan she could’ve. Sloan was sitting pretty in her seat and pav was rotting in hers 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I was really surprised by Pavlyuckova's comment about wanting to hit Sloane with her racket. And it seemed like she was trying to make Sloane look bad during and after the match. In my opinion, Russian WTA/ATP players are known to be problematic.

@@vlogswrell6871 I agree, people attacking Sloane for speaking up about her opponent's gamesmanship might have something personally against her. Sloane is known for being one of the nicest players on the WTA tour.

I don’t like the idea of quitting when you’re playing for a team, but the notion of someone saying that you’re “not putting in your best effort” when they’re not the ones putting in any effort is wrong to me. I appreciate Basilashvili, though, for convincing him to stay. That was a very honorable move when he could have just taken the easy win right there. But instead he wanted to win fairly and properly and, if he lost instead, it would have been a good loss.
@Tennisisreallyfun29 күн бұрын
I have to say, I like Pavlyuchenkova’s attitude here. Accusing a player of faking an injury is always a recipe for a conflict, and while Stephens said she didn’t address Anastasia specifically, I think we all know she wanted her to hear her complaint. And Anastasia never really wanted to hit her, that was just an expression that she was angry, and she was honest about the overhead and I assume she apologized at the net. She never tried to cover up her bad behavior, she was open about all of it and recognized her faults and I respect that. I do think Sloane started it all, she should have kept the injury faking comments for the press conference since the umpire could hardly do anything about it at the time.

Collins is retiring? She has had a remarkable run in the past few months and she should be very thankful for all the success she has earned. But, through it all she had had an edge to her game which hasn't been very pleasant to watch. You can call it great determination and focus but..... Even in this video, when it was time for her to speak after her victory at the awards ceremony she 'purposely' didn't mention the other player's name, instead calling her, "her opponent". That's nasty. If Collins thought she might become a tv analysist for the game after retirement, well, I don't know what her chances will be like. But, in today's world, the more outspoken someone is, the more they are heralded as centers of attraction for getting favorable ratings for their 'employers'. Stirring controversy has become an art form and you don't have to like it, but, that's the way it is right now.
