if you are using f16 and you still get so grey to white background is because something is wrong. To much power, to many flashes, high ISO? with f16, you should have black background. Try ISO 100, 1/250, f5.6, power 1/64 and shoot only the beauty dish, and dont shot in ttl (for me it looks ttl as in f16 still get bright images because flash is trying to find middle gray in your skintone. hope it works.

I have a questions about connecting the a99 to an external monitor, not a laptop, for doing studio shoots and having the model and myself seeing the photo on a larger display. if this can be done, how?? i have the same lens and it works well with my a7iii with the le-a4 adapter. Just that the adapter started having issues a few months ago and now it started to back focus. I tried this lens with my friend's LE-A4 adapter and it work beautifully. crisp and sharp. Was planning to buy the LE-A5 adapter to replace my faulty one but apparently it doesn't support my camera T__T

Nice work. I don't use flash nearly enough & one should because it possibly could be the fastest way to step up one's photography. Especially off camera flash. You da man shooting one handed at 1/06th. I couldn't pull that off I don't think. Even after my 3, 16oz. cups of morning joe. I usually shoot at a higher shutter speed because my camera has a High flash sync speed of 250 & 350, but also because it cancels out all the ambient light. It is amazing how off camera flash brings out so much more detail, texture & shadows often producing stunning photos. Thanks for the vid.

I have this lens and know that f16 causes horrible diffraction. f2.8 is about the largest f stop that can be used without diffraction, and about 16 micron movement increments for focus stacking.

Would you recommend this lens for sports photography?

Using a pop-up flash just as a “commander”? That will negatively effect your photo. There is a good reason “pro” bodies don’t come with integrated flashes, and it isn’t cost savings. Yoy’ll be better off with a small trigger set, coulpe of bucks and you’re set.

I found this exact laptop over the weekend at a garage sale.....it was literally brand new...only taken out of the box to charge. The older couple decided they didn't want it and boxed it back up. They sold it to me for $40. MINT CONDITION! STILL HAD THE PLASTIC ON THE KEYBOARD.....

Hi,I have got little problem with my A99 II.When i use lock on target AF my camera does not have th double green square on the subject and all pictures are out of focus. Any idea? mybe my camera has issue?
