This dude is a massive narcissist and if you don’t think so then learn what a narcissist is because you don’t know! Narcissist are created when their emotional needs are not met during childhood. Listen to his stories he dad was a raging psycho and tried to kill him as a child. They spend the rest of their lives trying to be relevant and seeking validation.....drag racing fed him those things! He is 75+ years old and worth millions and should quit and spend the last of his life with his beautiful wife that he spent his lifetime away from. He can’t do it because he is just a plain man at home! And people have the nerve to think he is a great family man? There’s more to life than a paycheck, ask his wife. I bet she’s banged a pool boy or three! He is driven because of his mental disorder yet the unknowing see him as a great champion?!? Narcissism...do a deep dive and educate yourself.....Glenn Frey of the Eagles was also a major narcissist, that’s why he couldn’t get along and destroyed the band!

My wife and I just moved into a rented house. We started to walk in the neighborhood and noticed a huge mansion atop a hill with a bridge leading to a gazebo. I was intrigued to view this gorgeous home from satellite imagery. I found out the house belonged to a man by the name of John Force.... I've never watched funny car races. Watched this highlight video and immediately fell in love with John Force. He earned everything he has. God Bless him!

Love you John, when you are interviewed you are for real. I miss you giving God (or in your words The Good Lord) the glory. At 74+ you have an opportunity to to give it to us straight. You remind me of my dad. Give us (me and my wife) another win. Stay safe and pray.

I was in the stands for this race. I remember gawking at Shirley Muldowney on crutches and a young John Force exploding a supercharger in the Gator National I remember that as the same year, that white flash was like looking into giant camera flash.

He was a real rabid foamer back in the day !! He brought a self absorption to drag racing that killed it being a "gentleman's sport", but brought nhra into a modern age too..
