Fantastic scene… but Zendaya’s acting really needs work. Her accent is non-existent compared to the other characters. She still sounds like an American.

Alicent went against her husband, endangered her children and grandchildren and started a war all so her father could control her and her stupid son and basically rule through him. He knew he could never do that through Rhaenyra. He knew she wouldn’t be controlled. His daughter is a fool and so is he. In their attempt to steal the throne they started this but she will regret it.

Even the Starks ancestors are good people! I wish they make how they defeat the white walkers on the very first beginning when it started!

Idk if it’s the music, the acting or I really care for these characters but for the first time in 29 years a tv show scene really put water in my eyes

The movie did such a good job of making the Baron this terrifying domineering presence that seeing him bow in total submission to the Emperor instantly showed how powerful the Emperor really was.

This scene is exactly one of the reasons why Rynira's character is bad like the green group. she only cares about her children and is not willing to admit her or her family's mistakes. If she was willing to do justice in the children's fight that night. There was no hatred in Aemond's heart. No one can blame Aemond because this was the result of the mistakes of the elders. Rynira should have expected to see the end of that injustice from that night.

I have no doubt Rhaenyra would be a better queen compared to Aegon, she's also much better mother compared to Alicent.

The film ruined Chani's character, and ruins the power of the Bene Gesserit, and ruins Chani's character. I agree totaly, the Fremen are waiting... waiting for the Lisan al Ghaib. Thays why they call uim the Mahdi. Mahdi... The Guided One'. But meh, Chani someone knows... something.

The genius of Denis Villeneuve is that almost every character was perfectly cast. I can't imagine anyone else in it and they are the faces that I saw when I read the book many, many years ago. ..

Can you imagine what things would have been like if alicent had not gaslit Aegon into being king. He would have gotten along so well with jace and the others.

Hugh Hammer in the show looks pretty lovable and sympathetic, so shocked to find out the role he will play later, which is interesting, wonder did they change his personality entirely or it’s just masterful manipulation.

Aegon II is actually pretty nice as a King, he seems almost kind-natured and genuinely wants to help the smallfolk (until corrected and influenced by the others like Otto), this portrayal is quite surprising. Many said he's Joffrey 2.0 (or the OG Joffrey, since it's a prequel) but he actually doesnt seem too bad.

I love the fact that despite knowing that Lucerys was a bastard Alicent still acknowledged him as a Velaryon. Great character building.

If Cregan met Aemond he would not like him for his arrogance and if Cregan met Aegon he would also mot like the stupid boy. Good thing it was Jacaerys he met first.

"Starks do not forget their oaths." Nice little callback to "The Black Queen" when Lord Bartimos Celtigar said that there has never lived a Stark who forgot an oath and the North will follow them. And indeed, Cregan and his Northerners would prove integral in the war. Lord Roderick Dustin and his Winter Wolves, and then Cregan himself during the Hour of the Wolf.

Is Paul following his sister in the visions? Also, the reference to famine - is that the outcome of Paul's holy war, or is that of the Famine Times, after the death of Leto II? I guess it depends on what Villeneuve's intentions for Dune Messiah are. Dune 2 made 3.5 times its budget back, so who knows what the studio will let Villeneuve do. I don't think it will greenlight a film based too strictly on Dune Messiah as it is on the page, however, as it is a very non-cinematic book. Maybe the film will incorporate elements of Children of Dune into it - as that leads us right up to the beginning of Leto's reign.

Rhaena grew up with her cousins and brothers in Dragonstone. Losing Lucerys was not only her losing her betrothed, but also someone she cared for. Even that one sentence she told Luke in episode 8 season 1, she was encouraging him.
