Back around 2000-01 Bob Villa came to the shop I worked at. He opened the door and was carrying something with the winds working against him. An employee helped hold the door open and another employee said to her "Don't you know who that is"? "That's Bob Vila"! We made a product at the time that was sold through Home Deport Lowes and other well known home centers. I remember seeing him and saying "That guy looks like Bob Vila".

Yes Ivana’s manners was a class act. She was beauty and brains BUT I am shocked how poor her English was ( before you complain, English is my second language too). It just shocked me …say no more.

3D artist here, since 1992. I started slowly with Amiga computers and here I am, more than 30 years later, still working in the field with a simple but robust PC that any mortal can buy. And 30 years ago, if a solid PC was something that few could desire, imagine how unattainable these SGIs were, costing tens of thousands of dollars, not counting the value of the necessary software. For these reasons, not many were fortunate enough to have the chance to touch these wonders in their prime. And for some, like me, it was a dream - unattainable - to be achieved. I never had the opportunity to work with one of them, when they were at their peak, unfortunately. But, as fate is ironic, I now have an SGI here on my desk, a gift from friends, donated to me to be a decoration - as beautiful as it is obsolete - and a reminder of pioneering times in the art of 3D.

Ironic, that Commodore was finally building a 3D workstation that could do this a bit slower right at the time that they went bankrupt in 1994.
