What if we have a gel mattress which is too thick? Is there a place I could take it to get it sliced thinner? We have a 12" but would prefer 8"

Love the van, and the mods. But as a soon-to-be Travato owners (59KL in our case) with 2 cats and a small dog, I'm looking for a solution for the cat pan... Where do you keep yours? (And the spare kitty litter.) We're not giving up our sticks and bricks home, but want to spend a LOT more time seeing this beautiful country, and our Travato. Thanks!

Are you sure about the the product link. It seem like she has a smaller unit. She says uses like 600 watts 45 amps. Can you confirm please. I am going to get one but am worried about the power consumption.

On my 2024 Toyota Sienna, I only had to cut off about a quarter inch off of each end. The window edge is almost straight, but good enough to fit in that groove. Works great. My local Lowes had these.

I want my windows to be more open. So ,Im thinking of cutting off the bottom border of the gutter guard, then take another piece of gutter guard(maybe have to trim the bottom of the new piece. Then join them together so my window can be open more . Hmmm im thinking. I live in my mini van ,sleep and set in my drivers seat 24/7

Hi, How sturdy is your truck camper while sitting close to the ground?

If you really believe global temperatures will be at record highs, do you think it's a good idea to use a heat pump in a diesel powered home (aka one of the absolute least efficient and highest polluting types of homes possible) ? This is a serious question; not trolling. I'm curious how one reconciles the words vs the action.

i have to say, the Host truck camper is not your typical truck camper. The Host is spectacular! it is a studio apt. on wheels. other truck campers are great, without ALL that room and privacy, and cost. cool video, i am envious for her and her camper.

I suspect that the drawer isn't sealing fully, explaining why the fridge won't stay cool AND the massive ice build up. we have the same fridge and the same problem and sometimes I even see that terrible blue light shining around the seal when the door is "closed" - really a bummer since the fridge was so expensive. but the drawer idea was cool but really is inefficient at storing food

Are you using the lid that comes with the poo bucket? That might cut down on the moisture. I use horse pellets from tractor supply. $8 for 40#. Great van!

Might be a dumb question! When you are reinstalling, what configuration does the handle end up in? Pointing up/down, left/right, diagonal? I am only able to turn it so the handle is diagonal, which seems wrong…thank you!!
