Listen my friend anybody who races at Indy has to take the rookie test even drivers that have won the Indy 500 and missed it two or three years have to take it just like this year it was going to if Kyle Larson couldn't finish the race because he had to go race at NASCAR they were going to put Tony Canon who's the 2013 Indy 500 winner and he had to take a rookie test and he were his last run was 2022 he had to take us rookie test for 2024 he didn't take it because Kyle Larson said he was going to take the ride all the way so stop talking about the guy being offended Jimmy Clark is one of the greatest drivers of all time nobody can ever change that in fact you with my father's favorite driver

Let’s face it, the decision to ban refueling had NOTHING to do with safety. If it did F1 would have had NASCAR style fueling systems decades ago and they would have stopped letting 14 or 15 people out into the pit box for every stop. This is about sub 3 second pit stops for no other reason than having a sub 3 second pit stop.

You just need a racing license and a fia official training check and than you need to race 20 time in a sim racing on the same track than switch and repeat for all of the tracks and than this goes into the fia for their words but you don't need a license to drive a f1 car you just need to be the age of 16 to drive that is all

No no no, you’re completely wrong. From my experience with NASCAR, I can confidently say that teams scrap their tires to measure tire wear

I was actually pretty dubious when I first heard of using tires as fuel for cement production, but in reality it's probably the best way of disposing of waste tires we have, except for recycling. Normally cement plants run on coal, which is actually higher in sulphur than tire rubber, and what little sulphur is contained within cement plant fuels actually gets scrubbed by the calcium carbonaye used to produce clinker (the stuff cement is made from). If they don't use tires, they have to add more iron to the mix, because cement production requires iron, but tires already contain steel reinforcements. The high temperatures and long burn times required for cement production both contribute to a complete combustion of any fuel used, which means no soot or fine particulate matter is released, and what little mineral ash is produced gets incorporated into the clinker. They can't use 100% as fuel though, because they contain too much zinc which would make the cement more brittle. Cement use/production as a whole is one of biggest sources of greenhouse gases (if not the biggest), but if the choice is between burning tires for fuel at super high temperatures or throwing them into a landfill, the choice isn't that hard to make. Obviously reducing our usage of tires by reducing the amount of kilometres travelled by all the vehicles in the world, and recycling tires at the end of their useful life would be preferable, but it's the undoubtedly lesser of two evils.

Well, that's a whole lot of revisionist history, isn't it? First, every driver since 1936 who has not raced at Indianapolis before is required to take a rookie test, and by everyone, they mean EVERYONE, F1 champion or not. Graham Hill, Mario Andretti, Fernando Alonso, etc. have all had to do it, and no one takes it personally. Second, Clark's rookie year at Indy was in 1963, not 65. A race in which he finished second and won rookie of the year honors. Finally, Clark was dominant in 1965 in a car that had 4 of the top 5 finishing positions, and that excludes his main competition during the race, AJ Foyt, who beat him for the pole, and was equal to him before the gearbox broke. The next best competitor ran out of fuel, which led to the 2 minute victory.
