Have one for $1500 near me, that engine is wicked, don’t like the rest of the styling but I’ve seen quite a few made into bobbers/cafe racers that look amazing. Actually made me stumble across the many goldwing bobbers as well. I need a Honda to park next to my Harley!

Demo one a week ago and there was a lot to like. I would go with the Icon as that color rocks. I would need forwards, taller screen and some sort of storage to really make it work for me. Clutch is butter smooth. 4th gear and up is where the fun is. That 116 is a good looking motor and plenty of power. Don’t like the way it whines when first started. It’s not a Harley. But it could be my next ride 🤔

Jon it was Great to open my feed and Bam !! There you were !!👍 First off Jon , Do Not Sell Yourself Short bro , the picked you and flew you out to Cali because IMO , you’re the Best Moto journalist for what they wanted !!! Your reviews are off the hook compared to a lot of other moto journalists /vloggers !! I have always Enjoyed the way you break down reviews on bikes and gear , always Informative and very In-depth , no BS or Sugar Coating , just facts and truth . Also you’re very well spoken , and you’ve got some riding skills too 👍👍👍 Really enjoyed this review and since I just picked up a 2007 Yamaha Roadliner ( looks like it’s off the showroom floor !! ) I will be looking into this system you reviewed , because it sure would be nice to be able to call mama while cruising and not have to pull over , especially when it’s hot and humid 👍 ( I moved to Oklahoma , and man the humidity !!! ) Anyways they made the right choice picking you bro , and sure was good to see you ! My best to you , Jackie and your kiddos , and may our Heavenly Father continue to bless and watch over you all 🙏

The Cardo is definitely the best of the bunch. I tried Lexin and Sena and neither come close imo. I will definitely be upgrading to the newest model when I get my next helmet.
@1Bigduff
@1Bigduff Күн бұрын
cardo also sells a cradle for the actual device that is much cheaper to add to a second helmet so all you have to do is move the unit and not all the wiring. saves lots of money and you still can use it in two different helmets.

not a huge loss but I did lose 1.5k on broken enduro bike. I went into a local moto dealer asking around for dirt bikes. They told me they don't sell those bikes themselves but that they did know of a guy who was trying to sell his KTM 400EXC. They said if I'm interested they would fix up the bike and sell it to me, without warranty (because they were acting as middlemen). I agreed to it because it seemed like an awesome deal for a street legal dirt bike. Cut to a week or so later when the bike was ready to be picked up. It's 2020 and the day my bike was ready, the government announced that in the afternoon the country would be locked down and no one was allowed outside. So I rush over to the bike shop, get the bike loaded in my trailer, and rush back home just in time. I did not inspect the bike at the shop, I did not start it, I just trusted them fully. Couple weeks of lockdowns go by, and we're still not allowed to be outside except for necessities but I start getting the real urge to atleast start the bike up and ride it around in the underground garage. But it doesn't start. I figure it's my fault because I wasn't familiar with kickstarters so I let it sit for a day while I look up how to kickstart this bike. I drain the gas tank and put new gas in it, I go out and buy a brand new battery when the shops open up again, I try everything but it won't start. Eventually after letting it sit in my garage for a few months I take it to a KTM repair/maintenance shop and have it inspected and they return with a whole laundry list of stuff that's wrong with this bike. Bent frame and broken engine and enough faults that it would cost twice as much as I paid for it to fix this bike... Lesson learned. Don't buy a bike without starting it up. Don't rush the buying process. And don't trust this local dealer lol

Honestly, this model is an ugly one, there are so many disproportions on it, the rear fender almost higher than the fuel tank, those longest rear suspensions are looking out of design, this exhaust pipe is awful at all, you’re almost putting your right foot on it. In terms of reliability, torque, safety etc perhaps it is great, but aesthetically it is not, IMhO.

Appreciate your opinion bro. % years since you posted this but I see one at local dealership for $3500 with 14700 miles on it. Your review is good. Kinda wonder how the brakes are in a panic stop. At 740# plus my fat ass that's about 940#, A lot to stop. Brakes mean a lot now a days with the idiot, in a hurry, tail gating chumps too busy with everything but paying the F__k attention to the ton+ their in charge of. Bike can move for what it is. Thanks again.

One problem you nailed is that it looks like a cruiser but you're barely able to get in a cruising position with that boxer engine. You're restricted to either upright Wing position or feet out on the engine guard highway pegs, looking like you're in a gynecologist's chair. Still, I love mine.

I get lots of heads turned and compliments on my bike....haters gonna hate but it is HD all day long...the only person that has to be concerned about the bike is the owner, and i am not concerned in any way....i love my bike

so, who's worse; the Dyna Bro who makes his bike look like everyone else's bike, or the Hell Yeah Brother who talk of days past and thinks no one would ride if it wasn't for him? Or is it the Bagger bro who thinks anyone with anything less than a bagger should ride bikes. I love my Dyna by the way.
