A heat gun on plastic at any temp is not good. Instead use a hear drier, more controllable heat and not so destructive if used right and lot of Patience.

Uselles video. Shows nothing like how and where to cut the lense off etc. Even showing how to get the lamp out of the car might be useful!

I have a 2020 Hyundai Kona with small screws connected internally with the lens and want to separate the lens and housing using the heat method. What internal components are the internal screws connected to and can the lens and housing be separated with the screws connected to the lens? It appears in your video the internal screws are connected to an internal bevel system and want to confirm the internal screws are not connected to the lighting components also connected to the housing. Your answer will be greatly appreciated.

@@brkrmn133 Toyotas are built with less components as they generally don't move or have adaptive features, but Toyota seals the control modules inside of the headlight so they are not serviceable.

My low beam goes off after few seconds. But when I turn on my high beam it works as low beam. So confused and i don’t know it’s a problem with the bulb or something else

You didnt show how you connected to the pins. Black to ground and red to pin you want to light up?

Yes, you apply + power to the positive pin for the light you want to test that is pointed out in the beginning of the video.

No vents. You could remove the LED modules/controllers to open air holes.

I notice my headlight was flickering then just died completely. So i assumed dead bulb so I got a new one installed but it didnt work. Then checked fuses and relays and still nothing. Could it be the ballast or the assembly ?

Update: I have repaired the DRL... one of the 3 LED modules was burnt... and thus was affecting the full DRL and made it shut down after 1-2 mins... went to a an auto electrician and changed all 3 LED modules... price was about 300 EUR/330 USD.

Sadly LED's are not made to last forever. If it fails, it will be costly to replace the entire unit.

This system is temperamental from my experience recently did an RGB Retro fit to one of these AFS headlight systems on an 2014 infinity Q50s we did not disconnect or bypass ANY systems in the headlights we even left the OEM DRLs plugged in and safely put inside of the back on the headlight casing as the RGB DRL system runs off an 12 volt supply off the battery system yet now when the headlights get turned on it gives an AFS warning for the Right hand side of the headlight. No idea what it could be

My right low beam stopped working, everything else works, I already changed fuse #15 DRL 10A and still not working, my last hope is a specific relay although I don’t know which one… I don’t want to believe that the whole head light is going to waste just because of low beam, my Honda accord touring is too new for this miss function.

I followed the directions to a “T” and saw very little benefit. I will say that my lenses were not nearly as discolored as some I’ve seen prior to treatment.

My high and low outter ring light isn't working on the left side. I bought a new one and I have the same problem. Is there a fuse or a software issue? The blinkers work fine.

I'm not sure if there is one, as far as I know they use electronic fuses that auto reset. I know the Model 3 had a recall on the trunk wire harness for a similar issue: www.tesla.com/support/model-3-trunk-lid-harness-retrofit It's possible that you got a faulty replacement light. You would need to test the lamp independently from the car and/or verify with a multimeter that the socket is getting power.
