I may not like how much the free to play market has been, especially with how much of an abundance of them have been nowadays, it just unfair to bunch up ALL of them as being nothing but over monetized, psychological monstrosities that do harm to people.. They're all not like that AT ALL! Especially in the mobile space. It may be hard for you and many others to realize this, but there HAVE been plenty of good free to play titles that don't be this way at all and can easily be enjoyed without spending a single dollar. I've played plenty of them over the years, across mobile and even console. If anything the gambling and over monetized stuff is more prevalent in the console and PC more than on mobile nowadays especially in more and more PAID titles. So having to treat ALL mobile titles the same way BECAUSE of the fact that they're free to play titles just does a lot of the better ones much more of a disservice than they even deserve here.

They should let us play in the Macs the games that are already in the AppStore for iPhones and iPads, e.g. CODM, COD Warzone Mobile, BloodStrike, etc. That would make me want to play on a Mac.

It's fine to see that even the M1 Air can play this game at decent fps and quality, so everyone can be happy but honestly, unless you need professionally a better chip with more GPU power, it's pretty useless on Mac to pay for more GPU power: there are very little games that run on MacOS and the premium (premium!) for a better GPU is usually enough to buy a gaming PC. Usually you can spend 700-800€ for a second-hand RTX 3060Ti + older AMD CPU combo, 16 - 32 GB RAM and play much much more games and at higher quality than with the same 800€ on Mx PRO chip. Apple charges too much money for more GPU cores and that GPU-power/price is not balanced; add that Apple makes little effort that MacOS runs natively most AA/AAA games, it is a no brainer to put that amount of money on a PC to game. I have my Lenovo Go and a eGPU with a RTX 3060Ti, much better than upgrading my Mac Mini M1 to a new more powerful model that won´t run most games...

What Apple needs to do is buy 1 or 2 gaming developers… then puts the catalog of games onto Apple Arcade.. im not saying they gotta go like Microsoft buying the all industry but one or two gaming companies enough to boost what they have to offer grow some momentum and get people excited to sub and support. From someone who has a deep love for Apple Arcade and is also deeply disappointed with what it’s become. Thank you for this video. When it came out it felt like when I got my snes when I was a kid. Really fresh and fun. I call it play to play instead of pay to play. Netflix gaming tho is killing it. Wish I could get it on Apple TV. Apple TV like Arcade is such a missed opportunity

I have been a subscriber since the beginning, it is really sad to see how far the service has fallen since 2019 when they were really putting out good games consistently, and I hate to see a lot of the good ones in the back catalog disappearing and very few new games being added into the service. And you are so right about Netflix, they are the mobile gaming subscription that is worth having (and watching now).

I like seeing Apple Arcade games brought to other platforms, like Fantasian, Oceanhorn 2, The Pinball Wizard, Grindstone, Roundguard, Dodo Peak, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, etc. I don't mind them being on Apple Arcade, but I don't like them being exclusive. (I noticed Way of the Turtle isn't on Apple Arcade anymore. Hopefully that's because they're going to put it on other platforms.)

When I bought the first gen iPad Pro yeeears ago and Apple had added mouse support to it, I was sure that game devs would add keyboard+mouse support to their games… but then years went by and no games supported kb and mouse. This must be a recent thing for developers because there were next to zero games with kb+mouse support even 4 years ago. Glad it’s finally happening but it’s too little too late. The iPad craze has worn off for me and I no longer believe that it’s the future of computing.
