@TheFrankman711Ай бұрын
Hi, the inverter needs 1 Liter (1.1 quarts). I don't remember how much exactly I needed for the engine, but I only got 1 gallon of the yellow motorcraft concentrated and mixed it 50/50 with distilled water. So I ended up with 2 gallons and still have some leftover.

@TheFrankman711Ай бұрын
The shop who changed the plugs should have reset the light. You would need a OBD scan tool and maybe the free software "FORSCAN" to reset it yourself. Or you you could go to an autoparts store and ask if they can do it for you.

There's a countable amount of water that's needed to dissolve a given amount of washing powder and an estimated amount of dirt. Using not enough water only leaves a residue of washing powder and dirt inside the fabrics and thus creates a need for a second washing (which wastes electrical energy). The same with rinsing - there has to be enough water to properly flush the said residues out of the fabrics (transport the molecules of the said residues). Insufficient water amount only makes it necessary to rinse twice or triple. Again: waste of electrical energy. The stupidly low water level in washing machines is an unscientific scam.
@CJWarlock2 ай бұрын
And thus the clothes' fabrics remain soaked in washing powder residue and dirt residue because rinsing uses too less water for proper flushing of the remaining molecules. Hence the need for double or triple rinsing. That's some water saving... ;)

Thanks for the video. Watched it right before doing work and changing plugs & air filter took about 90 minutes. Hardest part was getting the housing back on- you were correct in the rubber grommets being difficult. One thing that made the job easier was a 5/16" deep socket for the two outside cylinders in removing the ignition coils- watching you struggle with open ends was a little painful. Do u know what might happen if it is low? Mine was low and i think that may be the reason my gas mileage is bad. It was low….i got gas and it was saying 300 miles to empty….i usually get 500 or so. Then i filled the coolant.
@TheFrankman7114 ай бұрын
@@86bookshot Nothing should happen if the inverter coolant gets a little low. Just top it off to the max line. (mine gets a little low as well all the time) I would use the motorcraft orange or yellow coolant (or equivalent approved stuff), because you're not supposed to mix different coolants. The gas milage is not related to a low coolant level. The only thing that can happen if you get extremely low, is that the inverter will overheat.
@86bookshot4 ай бұрын
@@TheFrankman711 i thought maybe the low coolant was a result of the high voltage batt not kick-on this making the mileage bad. Any ideas on what that could be then? Filling it up and all of sudden getting 200 less miles to empty.

@@86bookshot The only thing I could think off is that maybe when it's colder outside the car runs more on the gas engine. Also check your tires for correct pressure when they're cold. Recommended is 40 PSI cold.

Not sure about the 2019 hybrids. It should be in your owners manual. The c max was due for a change at 150 000 miles. So 60k miles is probably way too soon. I think they improved the transmission from the 2016 model on....so they should last. What I heard is, they started with some grinding noise because of bad bearings. I have 165k miles and no problem.

@@rgruenhaus I was surprised too. You're supposed to fill the same amount that you drain, back in. I guess my fluid level was for some reason low. I didn't see any leaks though.
