You say it only cost about $150, but the Johnson kit you bought is listed at $205 on Amazon. I'm thinking you meant $350.

Very nice job. Mine is due soon. My 900 series does not have the cowl or speed reducer. Mine is in china red enamel that i don't really like. I am not a fan of that black either. But anyways, i have a Metabo keyless chuck, and friend let me tell you... It's the bees knees. You deserve a 🍺 🍻

I have the opposite problem, my lock will not spin on the first time it extends. I have to do a half turn to let it loosen or release and the. Spin it or else someone can walk up and unlock the door right behind me. What is the fix for that? Thanks!

Thank you!!! Great video and detailed explanation …10 minutes ago, I thought ours broke and we were going to have to go in and out of the garage until I got a replacement… pulled up this video and 3 minutes later i fixed the issue!

After a a few yrs of searching for the production table I found one and was able to get it today locally. Prestin condition, no drill marks on the machined surface. Stoked to own one in near perfect condition! It will look deluxe on my WT 900 floor model. And yes black and silver (polished metal) go very well together

So your door is less than 1/2" thick? Or you're not using a 2x4 for the bottom and top plate? 3.5" wide 2x4. Turn the studs, each stud is 1.5" thick. So you have a .5" gap... 🤔

It’s better to do it than to rip out the tile later and do it because the Kerdi leaked. If you think about it, Kerdi band in the corners applied with thinset? Is this really waterproof? Are you sure water won’t leak through the dried thinset? Hmmm 🤔

NO! looks great but heat kills cable. I had a cable brake and a friend that worked construction looked at it and said it had been heated. I said yeah I cut the frayed end off with a torch. he said that's why it broke and made me cut it off about 10 feet up the cable with an angle grinder. never use heat on a cable or wire rope.

Thank you been running into same issue on my 96 jeep gc zj with the 5.2 been getting left w oil pressure after driving for a bit at idle so wanted to check to see if its a common issue im going to try this
@tomtillman18 күн бұрын
Bottom line is, Kerdi is not waterproof. That's because the thinset used to assemble the pan is not waterproof. So, SOME Kerdi showers fail. Hydroban over deck mud is seamless. And waaay less expensive.

If I’m running railing cable, one end is crimped, how can I use this to cut the other end? There is no cut to use the drill. Do I cut extra then apply this method to the other end? That’s 2 cuts. What am I not seeing?
@thehonestman2620 күн бұрын
Nicely done. What I'm really confused by at the moment is how to build the closing jamb. Seems so simple, but I see nothing about it online anywhere. You have a more streamlined look instead of a traditional kit, which is exactly the look I'm going for. Love your black trim detail around the edge as well. Would love a little clarity regarding the jamb details if you have the time. Thank you.

Cool tip if you're using adhesive sandpaper. There are also tacky adhesives you can spray on to non-adhesive ones, allowing for easy removal and reapplication without damaging it.
