Hi Gregor. I hope you are doing well with your family! I need your help with 2 questions for you: I will buy version 3 of the mold (I already have the other 3 previous ones for 5.5 ;), considering that once molded they must be calibrated, the "Push thru size die" option is the 5.55mm right? And the 2nd question: do you have ideas or do you know of solutions (adaptations) that allow it to incorporate a larger capacity carbon fiber bottle-style air tank? Will it be very complex to manufacture? Do they sell it there? Aliexpress? Giving it greater autonomy would make this rifle even more iconic, thank you very much and greetings from Chile. (text created using Google Translate hahaha)

That rifle, with that barrel, and those 66gr altaros slugs, is fantastic. Cannot wait now for ur next tests using the 700mm barrels in .22 & .25 cal. Will be interesting to see the difference in velocity. Or maybe the grouping sweet spot will occur at a different velocity??? Thanks

Brother, let me give you a suggestion. At the beginning of your video, the air gun is placed on the table. Your clothes are black, the table is also black, and the air gun is also black. In this way, you cannot see the details of the air gun. The background needs to be changed to a different color. This will show the essence of what you need to show. There needs to be a color difference between the background and the products being displayed, and they cannot be the same color.

Gregor. Fx impact M4 has just been released. I was hoping it would be perfected this time, but alas no. Not close. Talk to rti and tell them to hurry up with getting the mora on to the market. I want one. M4 is a major let down. Maybe it will be fixed on version m5, or m6, or m7...

Spiraling diablo pellets is due to The Dzhanibekov Effect. As pellet spin it tries to flip over but cannot because airflow drag on its tail end is preventing it. But the farthest the pellet the slower it goes... the lesser the tail drag... the worse the spiraling. You can't stop this from happening. Because 1st nothings perfect: pellet shape, pellet mass distribution and 2nd most importantly a perfect pellet spinning vs pellet flight path: the more gyroscopic stabilization you have the more angle you'll have at longer range between spinning axis and flight path/airflow drag. Enough to initiate Dzhanibekov Effect... Airflow drag prevent it at beginning of flight but... initiate it at some point toward the end... You can only mitigate it using: 1 - diablo pellet with higher (diameter/length) ratio (for a given caliber it means using shorter pellets) 2 - or lower twist rate. This is logic remember: given a caliber heavier pellet are longer... which in turn need faster twist rate... for bullet shaped slugs not diablo one! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jtiWZKurq7Ccmpc.htmlsi=9SSY4AG0boOzVt26 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z7yAmb2QveDNo4k.htmlsi=7UcEdvh0DZyLdOt_

Actually, that is not true. Pellet and slugs have only 2 axis of inertia. Although you could claim the imperfections are the way they get three axis, then the slugs would have same problem as pellets. The very point of this video is the corelation of drag (or flare as some preferred to call it although the momentum derives from drag) and spin stabilization (gyro) stabilization. Both of these two are only present in shapes like pellets at the same time and the problem is that although flare is only dependent of the airflow, the gyro is not, it is actually dependent of derivative of the projectile movement and causes 90° force to the momentum it is caused by. This is best demonstrated by the fact that the spirals are ALWAYS in opposite direction of the pellet rotation. Just think about how weird that is :) You are right that the issues needs a "trigger" and that trigger is imperfection of the projectile (or a ever so slight wooable at barrel exit). That is the initial condition that is required, same as with Dzhanibekov Effect.

HELLO THERE GREGOR WHAT HAPPEN IF YOU FILL OVER 350 BAR OR 4500PSI AND GO 4900 PSI ?????
@gregorkamensek3923
@gregorkamensek3923 21 күн бұрын
Well, depends how far over you go. At some point, it probably explodes :) like every other gadget if you don't follow the working pressure range. Typically airguns are tested to x1.5 of their max operating pressure so for GK1 pistol with 350 bar max operating pressure, that would be 525 bars. But that does not mean that it is OK to charge the pistol over its 350 bar max working pressure!!! That is just the safety margin which it has to withstand in the QC before it is shipped out... So you should never charge and airgun over its max working pressure value!!!
@gravediggerrc
@gravediggerrc 21 күн бұрын
what should i do now i over filled air gun 5000 psi
@gregorkamensek3923
@gregorkamensek3923 21 күн бұрын
@@gravediggerrc 5000 PSI is less than 350 bars so you are OK. If you overfilled it by slight amount, then just fire it until you are under the SVP and then don't overfill again. You can dry fire it or with projectile... If you overfilled it by a lot (for example 400 bars or mor), then I would suggest to drain it down to SVP by the torx screw on the top of the pistol. This is because you could damage the valves if you fire it at these high pressures...

This is a prototype from which HUBEN GK1was born. At the time, I did not know what is the max working pressure of the action as the rifle from which the action was taken had a regulator with max 220 bar pressure. You can check GK1 and its capability where the max working pressure is actually 350 bars...

Hi I just got my PP 750 snow peak last week. Looking to increase the power. I was😢 told to cut the hammer spring. Second stage would be to adjust the regulator take the gun apart and the third one is to do some Drilling so there's three steps as far as I understand. I don't want to go too crazy because I want to keep the shot count around 40 with a 22 caliber. Probably around 14 fpe. What's your opinion?
@gregorkamensek3923
@gregorkamensek3923 24 күн бұрын
Hi. PP750 is not the same as PP700. I don't know the internals of PP750 but I cannot imagine how cutting a spring would help increase the power. Also, the shot count will drop quite dramatically if you increase the power.
