You’re right about that route up to the tarns. It’s evil. I went that way last time I did Baugh fell. I’m pretty sure the g is silent. My mum was born in Sedbergh (the g is also silent as per local lingo). I think the best way up that hill is via the Dowbiggin area and the handrail the wall up to the summit. Interesting plant fossils up there. Nice one.

Hiya. Fantastic mod on your tent which I have copied on my cloud peak 2. A bit tricky at first but very pleased with the results. Seam sealed it today and tested with a power wash. No leaks at all. Maybe you should patent it and get all the royalties. If I ever bump into you I’ll buy you a pint..

Hello! How has the pack performed? Im thinking about buying it for May-September use in Central European conditions, so it would be pretty light. One thing Ive noticed is that a lot of people complain about the side pockets being unusuable when full, but side pockets are the place where I would store 2l of water so im curious how you went about that.

Great video ...i do pretty much the same but put the hand warmer in my trail shoe or mid under the gas cartridge after i have wiped the condensation off...i dont like faffing about with alcohol stoves and by the time you have added a windshield a jet lighter plus a heat proof cloth to protect your footprint theres not much weight difference or advantage to justify not taking a gas stove plus you dont have to wait for ages or expose yourself to more tent fire risk...Gas is number one in my opinion.

Have an couple year old duplex and would love to do the zipper mods on both sides. Excellent upgrades. Any specs on the zipper and any advice (thread type etc). Also any close up of the clasp set up at the bottom of the zipper. All would be appreciated
@peregrinatehikingbackpacking10 ай бұрын
I think I need to do a part 2 showing finer detail mate! The zip is Military grade strength. Quite heavy and chunky but I didn't want to be revisiting it at any stage. The clip at the bottom is readily available from Amazon etc. But try and get nylon rather than plastic as it's much stronger.

Hi, I have several Osprey backpacks, and in a couple of occasions my backpacks need it to be repaired under their lifetime warranty. They did repair one of my backpacks and in a different occasion where repair was prohibited, they sent me a new backpack. I had excellent interaction in the past with their customer service. Did Osprey refuse to repair your backpack because is not longer in production, or because youre not in USA?

@@peregrinatehikingbackpacking Man that sucks, I also have a Levity 45, which I take care of it extremely carefully because of the nylon material. I really dig the modifications you did to the Levity. I've been thinking selling the Levity to get a LiteAF 30L, but the Levity is so comfortable and I don't want to compromise confort for weight.
