I've seen other reviews that mention the Galley Tour and a tour of the Bridge, but no one mentions how to sign up for one. Is there a list? Is there a charge? Is it available to everyone or a select few?

awsome video! I love when people are open about the financials of business as I think that is what helps others learn. Understand what the numbers look like and have better expectations. Did you happen to know if that 15% profit was after he payed the royalty fee? Also is the store ran itself? Or he is working full time in the store, almost as a employee and making 15%. Sorry for the fuss, just helps me understand the restaurant biz better

Wrong, depending on your grade, you are given the earliest date you can book an excursion . For our cruise to Australia on 7th December, we are given a date of August 28th for booking excursions

Jersey Mikes looks great but it also looks more complicated than some with the addition of the flat top

Thanks for checking out the video! It is a little more involved than a cold sub shop, and I am a big proponent of keeping things simple... but for them is is paying off. Considering the Average Sales for a Jersey Mike's is $1.4 Million compared to the average sales of a typical subway, $420,000... the addition of a grill is a small price to pay. It is still far more simple than a typical QSR which will also have fry vats and a variety of types of food, sides, and deserts to prepare, this is a pretty simple operation. In the video I spoke with Sally, she really did work for me as a manager at a Sonic location years ago. I asked her if the operations were more simple and she said, "OH YES, way simpler!" For example, placing a food order at a Sonic would take at least an hour, usually longer. There are so many sku's located all over the restaurant, but she said she just finished her food order when I get there and it too 15 minutes. Thanks for the comment!

You cannot buy a Chick Fil A!!!!! No franchisee owns anything. They are operators. Corporate owns all buildings and equipment. Operator has zero equity.

The only way you can book excursions as soon as you buy your ticket is if you book the cruise last minute by Viking standards. Probably 60% of the rooms are sold a year in advance, and depending on the itinerary, an entire itinerary can be sold out a year in advance. A lot of repeats Viking customers book their cruises a year in advance if not earlier.

what is the person is just late all the time. not just an isolated incident
@therealpaulreiser
@therealpaulreiser 23 күн бұрын
That is definitely a problem. The key to this method is to address the behavior and not ignore it. When you address it and ask questions you can communicate with them and make possible changes to their scheduling and / or help them improve their behavior with tips on how to get to work early. If they are good, tell them they are good... when they are there... but you really feel the pain when they are late. Do they really understand the impact they have? If they repeat the behavior it should quickly be followed by consequences. Write them up. Suspend them at a time when it is convenient for you, not them. And if it doesn't improve you have to let them go.

Wow, I've only watched a total of 3 of your videos so far, and I absolutely love you! I worked a couple of fast food jobs back in the day, and that was some really hard work, I worked at a chic fil a, and a sonic...both were great places, but fast food just wasn't for me, it gave me a really big appreciation for workers doing fast food though! You seem like the PERFECT BOSS lol.. Again, only watched 3 vids so far, and when you said you sold, I thought you were ready to retire, and commit your life to your KZfaq channel, lol, which Is working out great for you by the way, if you ever need a former fast food employee from north Alabama, look me up, I have no experience in KZfaq except for constantly watching it, but I'm up for the fun you seem to be having everywhere lol

I knew a very nice girl who lost her job to circumstances well beyond her control similar to this example. She was on vacation and flew to her home country in Africa. While she was their a revolution broke out and the rebels seized the airport for 4 weeks. By the time she was able to get back the company had already fired her and refused to take her back. It was a real shame too. She was a good employee. The company was not the best. To give some context, this company actually made a profit off their employee by hosting an employee Christmas party.

@Elderos5 That's terrible! It makes me sad to hear things like this. Hopefully she will quickly find another job, hopefully in a better environment! This is a great opportunity for businesses to step up and be the kind of place people want to work! People are hoping from job to job, businesses should strive to be the last place an employee hops to!

I always "try" and give the benefit of the doubt, and always ask why. I try to assume good intent from others. I may be wrong sometimes, but it saves a lot of needless anger on my part.
@valwenventureco9285

there are many reasons you might not file a police report, the boyfriend might be a cop himself and that could set him off again, he might have a mental disorder and had been unable to afford his medication leading to his breakdown, it might be his name on the lease and if she reports him she may find herself and her child homeless, things in life are rarely black and white. now if there is a history of suspicious behavior then you might decide you need to fire them, but a single incident is rarely worth the effort of hiring and training someone new.

Honestly I was having some medical problems myself and my employer was having issues I'm assuming thinking I was faking my problems. So I started sending them pictures of the bloody puke filled toilets that accompanied my problems. Turns out I had asthma and it gave me really bad stomach and acid reflux problems that'd then give me massive throat infections and other problems. Got diagnosed and so far I've not needed to take any ant-acid medications since I'm on the stuff for asthma and I'm doing much better in that respect.

Anyone can get into a bad situation and grow. There are loads of unwed young women with children who could use a job. They need a job too and that is a very common applicant to a place like sonic. And that woman may date men who turn out to be shitty. I personally would prefer to have compassion for her rather than insult her and claim she is unfit to work one of society's least prestigious and lowest paying jobs. You are an ass.
