This does not happen everywhere - I think it depends on the location. It's not surprising all of these incidents happen in NYC. It depends on the demographic and culture.

Tell that to children wearing uniforms and women wearing baggy pants and shirts with hoodies. Open your eyes, you sound ignorant.

That last father was so ignorant. Almost everything went over his head until he saw a brother and his racist upbringing returned. That culture and cat calling will hopefully end within a generation or two. Let’s hope.

This last guy had his daughter at 55. Almost everything went over his head. But the racism.. nah, that they still has a grip on. Violent as well. That culture is on the way out. Hopefully ignorant cat calls also.

I am now more grateful for my parents than ever before. I really had no idea how much women get cat-called when they're walking on their own, and as of yet, I haven't ever really gone walking in crowded areas like this without my dad or my mom beside me, both clearly able to fight someone

If u dress like one, then u gunna get called like one. And if u ain’t dressed like one, and u get cat-called, but u entertain it; especially like the last girl did; then don’t expect the respect. Not condoning these guys’ behavior; but also, don’t give them a reason to. It’s pretty simple actually.. That last girl was married and walked with that guy for 10 mins entertaining a conversation. If her husband sees this, I hope u drop her cause if she like this on camera with a mediocre guy, what gunna happen when a more handsome and sly guy comes at her, OFF camera? I’d broom her fast bruh.

Its there are yall eouldnt be so quick to try and deflect galls insecurities onto her and her choices. Wow theres alot of people in here hiding dirty secrets thats i think would be great for people to dig up on yall and post it all.

People should have respect. Btw this is way women are fully covered in Islam the Quran said and it’s the words of God Surah al-Ahzab 59. (O Prophet! Tell your wives, and your daughters, and the believers’ women to lengthen their garments. That is more proper, so they will be recognized and not be harassed. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful).

OHHH Someone commented about “brothers react to sisters being catcalled” and I have a great story!! So I’m a female, 16, and my brother is 18 (mildly autistic). Since I was in kindergarten my family was really close with another family that had three sons, one my age, one my brother’s age, and a couple years younger than me. The oldest never really talked to me to looked “comfortable” around me, but I mean we still talked but very briefly in group convos you know? That is until one day a year ago when I went to their pool in a bikini (it was VERY unrevealing, it was black and had everything 100% covered, my parents were always pretty strict about modesty). Then the oldest completely ignored my brother and started talking to me and making jokes and laughing a lot. He kept trying to hit me with pool noodles and got very physical touching my arms and leg and such. At first I gave the benefit of the doubt, but it got increasingly more uncomfortable to the point where his brother (my age) told him to “stop being weird” (they seemed genuinely annoyed). So I decided to move to the hot tub where my brother was. The oldest sat next to me, so I moved to the other side of the hot tub. He moved with me… 3 times. Then he squeezed my thigh. That was the last straw. The next time we went to their house he was still weirdly flirty and physical. He started to like jokingly hit me with a pillow and I was like kind of pinned down, and that’s when my brother (always very chill and non-confrontational) lost it. He grabbed the guy and shoved him like a the length of the sofa, silently grabbed my arm and YANKED me up, took my outside to where my parents where, lightly pushed me into a chair, took a deep breath and said “okay, we’re going to stay here now”. He stood there next to me for the rest of the night. I love him to death (sorry this was so long 😅 )
