Everytime Astarion mentions his appearance is sad tbh. The one major benefit of him being ascended - he doesn't have to rely on Tav/Durge to tell him what he looks like anymore. You'd thing a hand-painted portrait and a statue in camp would be enough, (and Gale literally could just do that mirroring spell on Astarion, c'mon man) but no

I really wish they added him responding to having a statue of himself. Or the very broken and stupid artist portrait quest. It would have been a fun touch but I don’t think any companions react to the statues 😢

It feels like it was rushed and unfinished currently The statue I've never bothered with since I don't like the constant bless effect / find the statue somewhat awkwardly placed and ugly, but it would be worth it if it helped resolve any of the companions storylines Shadowheart has memory triggers all over the city but Astarion nope

@@Xenolithial I agree about the artist quest. I would have tolerated it if the reward worked and the companions reacted to it. The statue could be fun if there was some reaction to it. Even in the epilogue, especially since mine is of Karlach (not romanced). It did make me chuckle because mine changed clothing from one camp site to another, luckily she was still dressed.
