Do you have long Lease? As you put so much effort in, I assume you do have a decent Lease. You have certainly added value to the property 🧡

May I know how you handle insects that leave holes in your plant leaves? I just planted some annual salvia and the next day there are already holes. It is so discouraging.... I love your design and find them very inspiring!

For now I haven’t done anything but if it gets too out of hand I spray a couple of times with a generic pesticide for caterpillars / aphids - it gets better quickly normally 😊

Very pretty! What rose did you select? Yes, these projects are a lot of work. You aren’t alone in having to build up before you get started on the next one. For me, watching videos like this helps build up my motivation. Thank you!

Hello from London dear Johanna & Simba 😃 It is always such a delight to catch up with your gardening channel & tips ! I love the instant calming effect of the background music that allows us to pause for a moment as we would do with a dear Friend over a cup of tea. I will also attempt to grow Nicotiana this summer as I would love to introduce evening scent to the garden along with Night Phlox. My very first Sweet Peas are starting to climb up their support and it will be the first time I get to enjoy their scent ! Enjoy the beautiful month of May and looking forward to your next video 😃💚

I prefer perennial meadows over annual ones, I don't need to resow seeds every year.

Que rangez vous dans cet hangar qui nécessiterait un espace de passage confortable? La réponse vous fera connaître s’il,est judicieux ou non de mettre une arche à cet endroit😊

Do you always uproot the tulip bulbs? I thought they would rebloom every year and multiply but mine don’t. I have to plant them every year so I figure maybe we should remove them?
@Lea-zf7lm
@Lea-zf7lm Ай бұрын
It depends on the type of tulips you plant. The species tulips always return and multiply. Some of the old-fashioned ones come back. I'll be trying La Belle Epoque this autumn as it has a good rep for reblooming. I have some that are 12 years old and some that bloom the once. There are a few good videos on the varieties that return. Good luck!

Do you discard all those tulip bulbs and purchase new every fall? I thought you had to wait for the tops to die back before they are mature?

Love....your video. Is there taxi or Uber that we can go from 1 Châteaux to another Châteaux and go the village? Im planing to take a train from Paris to the Loire Valley . Did you go in the town and how from here to the old town? Is your Airbnb walking distance to these Châteaux? Thank you.

No the BnB was a little further out in the countryside and Ubers are sparse in the area so you would have to either find a bus, or rent a bike or car 😊

The arch off the patio was perfect👌! Since the shed/barbecue is a functional area you don't want a thorny rose enclosing such a small space where you're more likely to get pricked by the rose.

How wonderful to catch up with gardening project on this May bank holiday Monday dear Johanna 😃 What is exciting about this new garden project is to slowly get an idea of what your vision is and how spectacular the end result will be. There is indeed something very satisfying in creating a garden from scratch and you are looking so cute in your overall ! You two are doing a great pair ! Loving the arch by the terracotta planters with the vista on the garden urn and believe that Clematis climbing on a trellis display would look marvellous on your garden shed wall. You are well on your way to create your magical garden 💚

Hey! Great video! Working area looks tidy & well organized. With the addition of the rose arch it’s really pretty! I would go for one more at the beginning of the pathway to the potting shed and grow vitícella clematis over it! It would frame the view of the urn just perfect! Happy gardening 👩‍🌾

You can cut the heads of some of the flowers and make teas from these that are so nutritional and taking of the head of the plants encourages more to grow x
