Welcome back to the garden ! Today we are diving back into the heart of winter, back to... the first snowdrops in the garden! Now, the little meadow is FULL of wonderful narcissi blooms!! The garden is brimming with new growth and tulip buds - stay tuned for EP2 😊 I also managed to tackle some pruning & much needed clean up to get the garden reset for the new season. Happy Spring from London UK dear Johanna 😃 It is so wonderful to have you back with your delightful videos and yet another adventure & challenge in your new home ! The meadow that was so difficult to tackle at first in terms of planting is now filled with happy & healthy Spring bulbs that will come back to enchant you year after year. Your trademark Spring bulbs pots are looking beautiful and soon will be bursting into colours. The "Millepertuis" as it is called in France is a very invasive ground covering plant and I did not know it could be grown as a shrub. Should this one not survive, a beautiful Hydrangea will look just perfect. The modern house in which you are living will need a few touches of soft landscaping to make it blend better with the beautiful garden you are creating. It is lovely to see your beautiful cats stepping out in the garden with you ! I will be tuning in for episode 2 and wish you a lovely Sunday 😃🌷💚

P.S. your garden is lovely as you are. I adore snow drops. Would blue bells work in your garden space. I love forest flowers when they carpet the earth's floor. Is there anything more beautiful. Flowers will bring you peace if you let them.

"Winter"!? Where is your snow and cold? We in Nouvelle Ecosse, Canada were under 6 feet of snow. Your winters look quite dreamy. What region are you from?

😁 we are in Brittany, west of France - the equivalent of Cornwall in the UK so winters are indeed very mild, we hardly get any negative temperatures and sadly no white Christmas❄️ it’s a great area for gardening and we have a lot of growers in the area 🌱

A lot of flowers are poisonous to cats. Your garden flowers are beautiful!

Yes but they don’t nibble on too much - except for grass 😊

I added bulbs to my grass after watching your previous video but unfortunately all the leaves and buds were eaten by slugs before they bloomed. 😢

Oh no 😢 that’s unlucky .. where they tulips ? They are more prone to getting damaged by slugs than daffodils I find

@@bobbiostudio snowdrops, crocus and another one which I can't remember right now. For next year I'll add some daffodils and maybe research a bit how to keep slugs away. 😅
