Green hell is the best when I lose my sanity and crazy in jungle alone❤

I’m not a fan of horror games so I got turned off by the forest. I thought this ain’t so bad then I get killed and dragged into a cave. I tried to escape and got attacked by cannibals, evil babies, some thing with a bunch of human legs. They ate me. I uninstalled after that. Nope.. I went back to Green Hell.

I love the survival craft. Both games live comfortably next to each other in my library. I think the main difference is the enemies. The forest is very much a raid survival where you have to keep up with the enemies and they may eventually overpower you. John. It’s a horror survival. Green hell is very much you vs the world. The enemies are considerably minor when you could walk into a snake, spider, or jaguar and one shot all of them. But it’s the boulder of survival, once you lose your momentum it’s very easy to die to infection or lose of sanity, which is a very loose concept in the forest. So in conclusion, same genre, similar story inclusion, but very different paths of gameplay

I really like Green Hell but I'm a little timid about the sanity meter. I keep it turned off. How hard is it to manage?
@hag87523 күн бұрын
@@tonecyphers9239 not that difficult, keep away from illness, eat a snack or some fresh food, when you light a fire stay near it while your stuff cooks. Illnesses and rotten food always bring it down as well as passing out. Human food ie chips and orange juice etc, give you a good boost and staying near fires and in base keeps it up. When your sanity is low you’ll get attacked by not real tribesman for a short period of time but I believe that’s the only side affect

My favourite home base is the fishing village in Coastal Highway. You get the nearby forge in Desolation Point, and you can travel directly to Pleasant Valley with the cave system to get the the centre of the map. Travel to Mystery Lake is pretty easy too since the Ravine is pretty safe, other than the bridge crossing. Main advantage of the fishing village is that its quite safe. There's a bear that wanders through sometimes but even when using the outdoor workbench he's never attacked me since you can cancel crafting as soon as you hear him. The fishing hut nearby is good for cooking, fishing and waiting out cabin fever too. The wolves rarely come too close to the houses, necer close enough where they've attacked me before i could go back inside at least.

My home is Trapper’s Cabin, it’s cozy and the rifle rack is very useful. Sometimes I put one or two rock caches outside. I turn the dam into a supply depot then I have bases in different regions for the supply depot. TLD has grown to be so massive that you have to make a choice around 50 to 100 days. As the condition of food, clothing and meds degrade in places you haven’t been yet. Orca Gas Station in MT. Camp Office in ML. Spence’s Homestead in FM. Maintenance Shed in BR. Train Station in TFT. Farmstead in PV for Blackrock workshop. Thompson’s Crossing in PV. Quonset for CH and DP. Mountaineer’s Hut for TM and AC.

@@sandstormgaming806 My favorite part is how I can drag the travois from the dam to trappers, only stopping for wildlife or fuel. It makes wood and meat supply runs so much easier. I could have hundreds of fish and venison at trappers with enough grinding. Tip ups combined with the travois changes the game entirely. I do not loot, I clear.

In my opinion the pleasant valley farmstead is objectively the best base in the game. It has a lot of storage, a 6 space furnace, a fireplace, 3 stories, workbench (inside the house too), is located in the most central region in the game, has plenty to hunt outside and it's pretty easy with the porch. Also, Thompson's crossing is nearby, and you can get a lot of food from there. I would say the only disadvantage is the weather of the region.

Then I make a trip or two to get the loot in the farm. Then after that I head over to forsaken airfield to get the radio.

I started playing it this week too since it was on sale. My only complaint is the AI is pretty janky and dumb. You can bait the cannibals into water where they will drown or they cannot jump up small ledges or sometimes they run away randomly. You can really cheese the game if you want. And most food and consumables respawn after you quit and reload the game, so you really don’t have to worry about supplies. As long as you choose a good base location and are patient. As a survival game though it does give a lot of building options. But it can be frustrating when you find out like platforms don’t align right, so save often. Which by the way you can ONLY save at campsites. Makes sense but keep plenty of sticks handy in caves to build the cheapest camp. I didn’t realize for the longest time you could actually build inside them. Enemies don’t respawn down there and they don’t get raided like the surface, so weirdly enough it’s the best base location lol. Then you never need to sleep. No benefit to sleeping weirdly. It just passes the day and increases enemy rates the longer you’ve been on the island. Definitely turn up your cave brightness in the settings for recording (I put it about half so I am not completely blind). Anyway I look forward to beating it and getting the full experience, so I am ready for the sequel 😅

@@sandstormgaming806 So I did beat the game last night! The story is interesting but leavs a lot unanswered. The final boss it fairly difficult.
